Set 8084 Alternate: Imperial Plasma Cannon
About this creation
I couldn't have bought the Rebel Trooper Battle Pack without the Imperial one, too! And while this set looks a bit cooler than the laughable attempt the rebels made, I decided to make an alternate to this set too.

Here we have the "Imperial Plasma Cannon". Stationed on the snow and on AT-AT boarding hatches, it proved to be somewhat of a menace to Rebel forces. Unlike the common blaster bolt, its plasma shots are influenced by gravity.

It carries an easily replaceable power source on the side, and because of the cannon's small size, it's expendable. Many fell during Hoth, but not before taking out some turrets of their own. Those plasma shots are known to sizzle right through metal like acid on flesh. A morbid analogy, but you get the picture.

That does look even more awesome than those E-web turrets, it would have great to see this during the battle of Hoth :)

Quoting David Calvet This MOC is much better than the official set. I also like all the explanations you give about it.
Thanks! I feel like I HAVE to give it an explanation, otherwise the viewer will be left in the dark about it :P
