The official COP response to Christian Schlichting's UMRC Project Episode 12. It was a crossover, so, yea. Read and enjoy.
About this creation
Good morning, afternoon, or evening, veiwer. I bet you'll be glad to hear I could be on the road to recovery from my two months, 2 weeks long sickness. I was feeling well enough to build this. The build is crap, yes, but I have a very nice present for all of you coming up. It's not COP though, so don't get your hopes that far up. Anyways, Christian Schichtling, fellow comic-maker, author of the UMRC Project, recently had a crossover episode between his timeline's Earth and our beloved Coalition of Planets.
You can read the episode here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/192306
I also advise to read the whole series, it's pretty good. This response was inspired by Finn CQ's response, which can be read here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/192368
This one is official though, so... Uh... *strikes regal pose* Read on, reader!

“Good morning, Lord Harris.” Greeted Fleet Lord Aemowes cheerfully.
“There isn’t anything good about being woken up at 2 in the morning, sir.” Groggily replied the Human, Sammy Harris. “Why are you so happy?”
“I’m only happy compared to you. Humans are bad at doing things at night.” Said the Thyrendi.
“I was sleeping, idiot.” Harris retorted.
“I was… Uh… Not sleeping.” Aemowes answered.
“You were at a part getting all the girls as usual, being a young, good looking, red-eyed, UV-sensitive, star-venerating alien you are.” Sammy said, sarcastically.
“Precisely.”
“Alright, you’re like 61, or something! There’s no way anyone in their right mind would invite you to a party, sir.” Protested Harris. He was a bit annoyed no one invited him to anything, but this old alien had been.
“Power is the ultimate aphrodisiac, young comrade. Always remember that.” Aemowes replied, smiling to himself. “That, and my hat is awesome.” Harris nodded, conceding to his superior’s truth.
“Where are we anyways?” He asked. “The Wreath it missing it’s Hammer, this place hasn’t been fixed up in a while.” Remarked the Human about the insignia on the wall.

“Not exactly.” Aemowes stated quickly, seeing an opportunity to launch into a history lesson. “Thousands of years ago, before the Emperor, the symbol of the Coalition was simply the Wreath. However, once the Emperor re-united Tarsis, he added the Hammer. This building is pre-cataclysm, pre-strife, pre-whatever you wish to call it, thus, only the Wreath is present in it’s symbols.”
“Cool story…” Said Harris, not exactly caring. He wished he was asleep. Or better yet, out-partying the Thyrendi and showing that old alien who was boss in those matters. “Why are we here anyways?”
“Lord Indo has received some most… intriguing news from the Warfront.” Replied the Thyrendi with an awesome hat.
“Did those Earth barbarians drive us off or something?” Asked Sammy.
“I don’t know, Indo just had an officer show up and tell me to get down here.” The two approached an old door at the end of the hall.

“Good morning.” Stated Fleet Lord Gus Indo dryly. “I’m afraid I don’t have time for pleasantries. I was engaged in some strategic war simulations when I received word from Lord Galvan of the 13th Fleet. I didn’t even have time to get my uniform on, either did you, obviously… One of his generals, a certain van Heinrich, Earth descent on his father’s side, ran into some trouble.”
“That’s good and all sir, but would it be too much to ask for you to turn the lights up? You know how my people are about the dark…” Aemowes interrupted.
“A Thyrendi will run into combat with glee, storm a fortified artillery position, and tell the Emperor himself that he needs to do more government work, but for all their bravado, they’re still afraid of the dark.” Harris said with humor.
“The fear of darkness is commonly thought to be irrational. But there is a reason to it, Lord Harris. Sometimes, people don’t return from the darkness.” Aemowes shot back darkly.
“And sometimes people don’t return from the day.” Replied the young Human.
“Well, then you have Warpspace-” Harris cut off the Thyrendi.
“Lord Indo, care to tell us what is going on, exactly?” Sammy, like other Fleet Lords, spent a lot of time in Warpspace. Even if he didn’t believe them, he didn’t exactly appreciate the tales the Thyrendi had about it.

“Indeed, I do.” Indo said. “Aemowes, I will raise the light. Anyways, this is a recording of the report Lord Galvan sent to us from the Warfront. Listen…” He raised a recording player. It began.

“Greetings, Lord Indo, and whomever else is listening.” Said the voice of Lord Galvan from the machine. “The war goes well, but that is not what I am reporting. Recently, we detected a strange disturbance in spaced. It was much like how Project Kymok was described, though in realspace.” Aemowes let out a shudder. Harris looked questioningly to Indo, but got no response. He looked just as confused. “Through it came an Earth ship, the technology matches what the barbarians have achieved, roughly. It was more advanced though. Several decades ahead of where their counterparts are. We didn’t get too much information, but General van Heinrich managed to dispatch a report before destruction. Apparently, a certain Earth Human was making claims about how he came from another universe, or timeline, or something. We’re not too sure; the information was rather mangled by some unknown factor.
“He claimed to be studying something called the Mysterions, and from the UMRC, a civilian division of Earth. We have no record of such things aboard any ship in the fleet, but I’d ask of you to search through the archives on Tarsis. Perhaps we’ve encountered them before only to forget the information under millennia of piled-up data. Other than this, we don’t know what happened next, other than a perfectly stable star went supernova. Whatever these Mysterions are, they’re powerful, beyond anything we’ve encountered. The supernova destroyed van Heinrich’s detachment and wiped out the system. Luckily, there were no civilian losses. If you need anymore information, recall my to Tarsis at once. Galvan out.”

“This was sent a week ago, it only arrived not an hour before now.” Said Indo. “We could be dealing with a new threat, and considering how the Earth Human escaped through this disturbance, these Mysterions could be allied with them. They have the power to destroy stars, that in itself warrants utmost caution. We may have met our match, if they decide to attack.” Finished the Fleet Lord.
“What do you propose we do?” Asked Harris. “And what is Project Kymok? It sounds like a Thyrendi word.”
“It is.” Said Aemowes. “I can’t tell you what Kymok was though.”
“And why is that?” Questioned Lord Indo.
“Few know of it, few are supposed to know. I’m not sure how Galvan knows, but he probably found the ‘public’ file of it in the library. All I can tell you is that Project Kymok took place some eight thousand years ago, and by order of the Emperor, it’s knowledge to be limited to only one basic, very stripped down public file, and to the House of Zacynthus. You can read the file later.” Aemowes answered. “As for our plan of action…”

“We could send a ship.” Suggested Indo.
“That sounds reasonable.” Harris agreed.
“Indeed.” Aemowes finalled the agreement.
“Very well, that settles it. We send a ship to investigate.” Lord Indo announced to the other two. “Let’s get out of this dreary place. The only reason we’re here is to avoid any hypothetical bugs. No one’s been down here in years.”
“Eerie place…” The Thyrendi noted.

“We shall send a Warpship, E-class. One can be spared from the war effort.” Stated Lord Indo.
“It should be sufficient.” Sammy added.

“Let’s hope these Mysterions are not as powerful as we think. In anycase, it won’t matter. I believe the Coalition has the numbers to counter any superior technology. We’ve done it before, and we can do it again.” Indo said.

“I say we send it through the disturbance. If these UMRC people do anything, we’ll be watching.”
“Yes, it would be wise to keep an eye on these people. It shall be so.” Replied Indo. “For the Emperor.”
“For the Emperor.” Repeated Harris.
“For the Emperor.” Aemowes stated. The three then spoke in unison:
“Let his will be done.”
Fun but-not-really facts:
I'm getting better at Photoshop, especially since Gus told me how to make straight lines, and I discovered the "Render" tools. But I still have work to do obviously.
The second-to-last picture is a Warpspace jump. Yes folks, that's how the COP get's around, at least on standard drives. The last picture is the darkness of Warpspace, compared to the comparatively bright stars outside.
But who was Project Kymok?! You'll find out one day. It's a story that's been brewing in my head a while. Also, the meeting is Harris, Aemowes, and Indo because the Emperor is too 1337 to be bothered with such things. But rest assured, he knows all that happens. In case you didn't catch it, none of the officers had time to get in uniform. AKA, I was too lazy to piece together matching clothes for them. Good night, and good luck, at least as I type this.
Oh, Gus, I gave you orange glasses, because I needed you to look older, and more cool in general. Colored glasses are quite G, after all.

Still busy with lots of other stuff but after another Star Trek marathon in television i was inspired to finally write out the whole script of the crossover episode. Though waiting will continue, i think it will be the most epic sci-fi story you've ever seen on Mocpages. Aemowes will get a guest appearance, too. One character is still open, a military COP general responsible for troops on earth or as overseer, so if someone of the COP wants to guest with a character fitting to that, he's welcome. Should know, that this person will aged 10-20 years more in the story.
Sounds great. I'd volunteer Sammy, but he's going to be pretty vital in Precipice. I'm not sure exactly if what would happen in the episode would conflict with other events. |

I'm currently shaping the first plotarc of S3 (for a good cliffhanger) and may found a perfect place for spinning this mission into it again. WHat i need is the name of that ship and maybe 1-2 characters (captain, mission chief). And would you allow to use 2 pics of this story for?.
If it'd help, I can supply you with more pictures not available on the Internet. And do the ship emerging from Warpspace if you need me too. |

I look forward to it. As for a ship's name? CPS Intervention. Pics? Use anything you need. Names? Uh... Captain Raeos Iehnol. You can make up names for the rest of the crew. Since the Intervention is going to somewhere new, they'll be carrying an ambassador, let's call him Erin Kasov. These guys were specially chosen not to be total fools, and to act reasonably, and in the ambassadors case, not get too carried away about how awesome the COP is. They know humility, unlike the last guy. |

Wow. Very impressive, and there's something to it that just makes me smile - very cleverly crafted :D
-Anyways, Awesome, I am back! For 2 weeks, starting... yesterday. And I am going to need some help getting this COP Web-episodes running again, and any chance I could star in one of these?
Cheers, BK.
And there was much rejoicing. Yaaaay! Sure, you can star in the next random comic I make, if it involves this period of time. And I can help you with the webisodes, kind of. Not the actual filming, but help nonetheless. |

Mh, the idea isn't bad. Unfortunately, the Mysterion "Jumper" got destroyed in my episode. Aside, the C.O.P. in maox timeline is in civil war and won't do much so the other factions can focus on the Krill war. But if we assume, that a black hole could be a wormhole, too this would add the Mysterion starshutter a new meaning.
Nevermind, ther're some ideas for dimension/time travel things in my future storyline so maybe i'll link this episode later again. But not before Season 3 or 4. It must work with the other plot-arcs i have. |

I missed this! Great job man, I like how I'm included in this whole thing. I don't mind the glasses really, and I hope you feel all better soon. I love the story, but are we really fighting these folk now? I wouldn't mind at all, even if we start invading in others' universes. Now that I think about it, I'd love to participate in a multiverse group, one that can have as many factions as people want. All themes and all made up armies can join in a non-canon war against each other. the 23rd century can retain its strict COP, UNE only ruling, but in a separate almost alternate timeline, we can fight all other themes. We'd pwn too, unless the DF get involved.
I don't exactly know. I had them sending the ship so Christian could include us again whenever he wanted, but that multiverse idea is definitely one to consider. |

So project Kymok is a who, not an it, eh? You should really be a little more ambiguous with your foreshadowing, you know.
Not exactly. Look up "But who was phone?" and you'll understand what I'm getting at. |
