About this creation
Team “Legion Of Virile Energetic Moccers Unified For Frivolous Ingenious Naughtiness” entry for the Set Alternate Category of the 2010 MocAthalon!
Even in 2043, Foremen need a way to get to the jobsite. The Fortoyotdodge motors company introduces the 2044 F-160Tundram!
For those not familiar with our products, here’s a little back story on the company. When Mark Kelso was elected as All Powerfull Ruler of Earth (or the H.M.F.I.C. as he called himself) on December 23rd, 2012, the world “officially” ended. Nations rioted, dogs and cats were getting along, and the Lego world sat in silent awe.

After Emperor Kelso was finally beheaded by the People’s Hatred Initiative Purposely Sworn to Overthrow Nincompoops in 2014, peace began to slowly return to the planet. Many major corporations that once thrived in private business had been forced to join together to keep up with outrageous “you’re not naked” taxes that Kelso had imposed during his reign.

The auto industry was one of the hardest hit. The three remaining auto giants, Ford, Toyota and Dodge were the first to incorporate and therefore survive what became known as “The Kelso years.”

After Emperor Kelso was “removed” from power, industry thrived and science expanded by leaps and bounds. One of the most anticipated inventions of this century was finally realized. Flying cars! For some reason though, Ex-Toyota engineers were never allowed to install throttle controls…

And yes my friends, even in 2043, the job foreman still needs to get to the jobsite. But if you’ve gotta work, do it in style!

Fourth wall commentary: Well, I wasn’t going to do another post for the games, but I had some time last night when I got home and this category hadn’t been done yet. I got the OK from JD to post so here ya go!
Here’s the set I used for the build. “7631 dump truck”

The parts in the bag to show what was used. This was one of my unopened sets that I had and I figured it was about time I started sorting these things. As with Heath, if the judges NEED a pic of all the parts laid out individually, I’ll be happy to add it tomorrow. Just let me know if it’s “needed.”

The four parts that weren’t used in the actual build of the moc. Two technic pins, a shovel and the fence. Technically I “used” the shovel and fence in the last pic so really the only parts not used were the two pins.

And that’s it from me! By my count there is only about an hour left in the contest. So if you’re involved and reading this, that means you’re not building! What’s wrong with you? Get building!
I’d like to thank the judges again of course, but also each and every player who joined in and made this amazing contest possible! Thank you all!
Till next time true believers!
~Chris.

Some of the parts just look like they're slapped on. Maybe a little more thought should have gone into this one. 2 points. |

You may not have scored well with the MOCathalon here, but that's seriously creative, down-home, Grade A, 100% Phipsonian smackage, and I for one am PROUD to be the victim...well played, sir! |

Great build, awesome story. Those Kelso Years sound pretty dark and scary... This was the hardest category I had to do, it almost turned my hair grey with stress. I made a rubbish pit and a stomach ulcer, you made a pretty groovy looking vehicle! |

It's not your best, but making a great set alternate is almost impossible when the pieces are so specialized. Fantastic story though. HMFIC indeed. |

So those brake lights under the driver/pilot ... are they used to warn people of a crash landing? ... "Incoming!" ... |

H.M.F.I.C. Has to stand for something. That'll keep me awake all night if I dont find out. Nice alternate, and as always, funny backstory. |

I never would've thought about using a dump truck to make a flying vehicle. I think I heard H.M.F.I.C. in a movie before; can you tell me what movie you heard it in? |

Nice story, but this moc, well... My grandfather always said that if I didn't have anything nice to say... Some clever use of parts and the story is worth a point for a total of three (3) points. Lee. |
