A vignette to celebrate camping. I do love the great outdoors, a lot different from what I see everyday. This is also my first vignette. Hope you enjoy!
About this creation
Here is my sigfig, having a pleasant time roasting marshmallows. He is using his newly patented collapsible marshmallow stick. Remember the times that the marshmallow slides down or off the stick? Well, this marshmallow stick has anti slip technology which guarantees that your marshmallow will not go anywere. Get yours now for no not $5.99, not $4.99, but $10.99! =P
He is also holding a marshmallow that he is about to put on the stick. I don't really like the way the campfire turned out, but I'm not the expert on fires. Notice how my sigfig was smart enough to build a fire pit and clear the area of dry brush and flammable objects.
Another view of the campfire scene. He has his hunting rifle leaned up against a twisted old stump, for easy access. The axe is also on the chopping block for chopping wood.
A rear view of the scene. You can also see the backpack lying on the ground. It sorta looks like the backpack I took to Joshua Tree.

He looks content. I would be too, knowing I was going to be eating a stick, ooey, gooey, with a light shell on the outside marshmallow. Mmm, mmm.
Closeup of the backpack and some of the detailing. It looked nice at the time, but now I'm not too sure about it.

The campfire. Reminds us of the classic song, (que music) Lets gather 'round the campfire, and sing our campfire song, our C-A-M-P-F-I-R-E S-O-N-G song, and if you don't think that we can sing it any faster than your wrong, but it'll help if, you just sing along!!(bum, bum, bum!) etc.

I suppose I'm kind of butting in here but, yes hunting is hard. I've been hunting for three years and I've never even shot at anything.

Kinda. First, you have to wake up really early in the morning, gear up, drive all the way to the location, walk a few miles, set up, then wait a few hours for the animal your hunting. |

I myself am quite fond of camping. I backpack, camp, and canoe to campsites. I never want to go, but I end up enjoying it when I'm there. Do you really bring a hunting rifle when you camp, or was that just ot enhance the scene. I do most all of my camping with the Boy Scouts. Are you part of the BSA? |
