As you can tell just by this picture, I went more for the "zoo" part than the actual animals, which I know I'm going to get busted for. But I couldn't help it....
About this creation
Welcome to the Intergalactic Aquarium, home of some wild aquatic animals from parsecs around. As my final MocAthalon entry, I tried to make it look impressive, so.... Enjoy!
An inside view, showing all the passageways, which are gridded segments without rails.
The southwest tower, which is the technology center. Nobody's really sure exactly what kind of tests they do here, because it's closed to the public.
The northwest tower, which if anything would be considered a lookout tower.
The northeast tower, with 2 searchlights.
The top of the southeast tower, the highest tower in the aquarium, namely used for broadcasting.
On one of the upper floors of the southeast tower, a balcony with tanks on either side. (Otters)
An alien peers over at the galactic shark tank, imagining being a minnow in there at the same time.
The most popular attraction at the aquarium is the main animal tank, which is obviously the biggest room in the aquarium. A diver swims with the animals at the hourly show, which is commentated by the t-shirt dude.
At the VIP seats watching the show....
Astro 2: This show actually isn't too bad.
Astro 1: What show?
But you've probably been wondering what all the fuss about this aquarium is without any animals. But here they are: Luminescent jellyfish. Coming in multiple different vibrant colors from the planet Zontron, people come long to this zoo to see them.
Good luck to all of you in the MocAthalon, see you next year for the next one!

Ok, ok, sorry. I just got kind of mad. I even said in the intro I'd probably get busted for the zoo. :)(And yes, it helped) |

http://www.mocpages.com/group_conversation.php?id=10206&topicid=44235 - Make sure you read the rules, and know them better than I do before you start to question me on them -
DQ: disqualification. Cheating, such as plagiarism or reposting old mocs. Only the player in question will get a DQ, the team will live on. 0 Point: "Clone on a plate" type entries will be laughed at and you will not receive any points. Out of focus pictures, builds that don't match the theme, late entries, etc. I will point out the "builds that don't match the theme" to you for your convenience. You didn't build what was required - I gave you a zero. I left it open to the other judges as to how they would like to view your moc. Hope that helps. Lee. |

25) Superman’s Interplanetary Zoo
Build any creature you wish, real or fictitious. Show off your chops at creating forms, shapes and textures found in nature. The jellies saved you from a DQ though - zero (0) points. Nice build otherwise. Lee. |
