A spheroid slave owned by Kias Therrick: a Sirrushian mine owner.
About this creation
Name: Aaziih Race: Spheroid Location: Sirrushian Asteroid Belt mining facility.
((Syrsa's music inspired the archaic speech of the Spheroids. Hats off to him for composing these songs :D ))
"HELLO THERE, HUMAN!"
After the discovery of Spheroids in Tempesta Celestis, the Sirrushians began a trade with the Tempestrian Spirits, in return for funds and new technologies. A slave route was set up between the two star systems, and many Spheroids now serve Human, Elven or Fincayran masters. They are now also being alloted into the mercenary ranks of MAOX.
Aaziih works for a human Sirrushian named Kias Therrick. This human owns a string of mining stations in the asteroid belt in the Sirrush system. He employs a handful of spheroid slaves, and Aaziih's job is to clear the tunnels of poisonous gases. His mechanical body, which he constructed himself as all spheroids do, is intergrated with Sirrushian mining tech, and he carries a powerful reactant that reduces these vapours into a harmless jelly, which is collected by scavenger droids. His singing is also much appreciated by the other miners, and raises their spirits.
Spheroids to not see slavery as other races do. A spheroid will only ever object to being owned is his master is breaking the law. The spheroids were created by an extinct race to serve, and that is what they do. In their society, even spheroids will keep other spheroids as slaves. They have no concepts of "wealth", "deceit" or "freedom" in their own culture, and fail at understanding other races governed by these. Other races claim they suffer due to slavery, although 99.8% of spheroids asked whether it is wrong will be confused by the question. Spheroids are sapient - but only just. They still exhipit very mechanical characteristics.
The race that created the Spheroids is the same race whose stem cells ArcheoGenis used to creathe their biomachinery - only far, far more advanced. No living spheroid remembers their old creators - although they do have records. They can live to be well over two thousand years old.

A spheroid's body varies, based on personal taste. Their real bodies are the spheres - orbs that emit light and sound at a gigantic range of frequencies and have the computing power of a small country locked inside. Telekinetic powers allow them to construct mechanical bodies, and a spray of nerve and stem cell tissue into the mech links it with the ball-like head. These cells then grow into specialised units that interact with the circuitry. The most skilled spheroid "body-builders" are usually the most powerful. Parting with their mechanical body causes excruciating pain to a spheroid due to being ripped from its nervous system - thankfully they can remake it. Some owners, such as Kias Therrick, encourage the spheroids to construct bodies to fit certain purposes and functions. All spheroids, however, seem to keep the two-thumbed hand design. Perhaps this is in honour of their creators.
