My entry for the Juvenile Delinquents in the Category of "Set Alternate." The set I used was #6242-1: Soldiers' Fort. [MOCAthlon 2010]
About this creation
For scores of years, the Isle of Delirium has served as a danger for sailors all around the LEGO World. Those foolish or unwise to sail near it were doomed to be never seen again, and banished to a world of perpetual delirium.
The Isle of Delirium. The moment an unfortunate sailor lays their eyes on the island, it already is too late.
An anthropomorphic boat stands right at the entrance, "greeting" newcomers.
A pirate captain who was unlucky enough to land on the Island.
One of the captain's crew members who found their way into the Room of Warped Physics.
Nature has also been twisted on the Island.
There may be treasure on the Island, but what good is treasure on a near deserted island?
Several sailors who found their way to the Isle of Delirium have somehow become a part of the actual structure on the Island.
The wind turbine on the island has puzzled the Isle's past and present residents for years.
The ruins of a destroyed structure.
A view inside the Room of Warped Physics...with a pirate whose sense of reality has been altered forever.
The monkey bound to the anthropomorphic boat, destined to swing back and forth with no purpose.
Another view inside the Room of Warped Physics.
A winch holding a cable in place.
All of the pieces included within the set are shown here.
I really like it man, the boat and the room of physics were awesome, I dont know if the judges will be so like me, they like stuff original, I know this is a little harsh but you took a fort and built another fort. I still think its good though dont get me wrong its just the judges are looking for something never seen before.
