Just two examples of how Photoshop can turn a MOC photo funny... sad, darker, more cool... whatever you like, man!
About this creation

Like it? No? Well, then, change it yourself!

Photoshop is a MAC application available from the Apple Store. This is how you can spice up a MOC.
And those are just two examples...

Yeeeaaaah... no offense, but these aren't very good examples of how to use an image editing program. Those look more like they were done in Windows Paint, and quickly. If you want to see good examples of digital manipulation, I'd suggest looking at busterbuilder's recent MOC ( http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=4383607). He uses both a digital background as well as blurring to not only set it in space, but also convey the sense of speed. Simple but effective editing like that make a better impression than poorly done coloring. There are hundreds of free online sites and pages that cover all of the basic and advanced ways to alter images. I'd suggest looking those up first before offering any advice. Lastly, you may want to mention that Photoshop is also available on PCs, as has been the case for over a decade now, and it can also be bought in stores as well as the site of the people that make it, at www.adobe.com. If the price tag is too much for you, there is always a free program called GIMP. It offers the same features and tools as Photoshop, but can be downloaded from a number of sites, and it a completely legal alternative to Photoshop.
I know. I was showing how you can draw or erase part of a MOC. I'm seventeen years back in time. |

I'm sorry, but these are pitiful examples of Photoshoppery. I could do this on MS Paint with my eyes closed. |
