AH/MH-6 Little Bird
Ah-6 "Little Bird" attack helicopter.
About this creation
You all know this one, too. This is my AH-6 little bird helicopter. Also, like everyone else (again!) I was inspired to make this after watching you-know-what.

The Little Bird is a multi-role helicopter, fit for either attack or insertion-extraction. It carries on each side a missile launcher and a minigun. It can be fit with seats that can seat up to six soldiers instead of weapons, to fit well and to ensure the safety of the soldiers.

Considering how small it is, this actually took me awhile to build, almost two hours. I spend most of the time trying to make the middle and upper-back part of the little bird's hull different from Luke Fraser's. But I just can't, it's just too perfect, and every time i finish a variation, it looked almost identical to his. so i borrowed two parts of it. You'll see what I mean.

A lot of the details are hard to see, because i take all the pictures on a white background, and all the black parts of my helicopter blend in with each other.

Anyway, heres the Little Bird's stats:

- Single Shaft 252 Horsepower Allison 250 C20 Gas Turbine Engine

-70 mm Folding Fin Unguided Rockets

-Two M134 7.62mm Pod Mounted Miniguns

-MH Variant Carries 6 Soldiers instead of Weapon Pods

-Control Panels Modified for Night Flying

-AAQ-16 Forward Looking Infrared Radar

-Seats 2 Pilots

(Stats from DF:BHD instruction book)

I hope you enjoy

   Empty. Great view, pic.

   "All units,'Irene', I say again,'Irene'." Loading troops.

"5-2, you will provide sniper cover while the jumpers insert, then you will insert and regroup with Delta." Sniper cover.

   Top view, not so great.

   Side view again.

And here starts the photos of my Ah-6 role. Instead of troops, the side-bars carry rocket pods and miniguns. If you can't see it, click on it, i know the colors all blended.

   Same thing here.

I'm extremely pleased how my tail and fin looks. Back view, obviously.

Showing tail and rotors. As you can see, i added the little stabilizers at the top of the fin, as the real one has. It was a simple concept, and no other little bird here seems to have it.

Top view. What i am extremely UNHAPPY about my creation is the lack of the fifth rotor. I have no idea how to make the fifth rotor fit, if you guys have any suggestions, please tell me.

Back view. If you can see closely, the two pieces i borrowed from Luke was the back of the cockpit, behind the pilot and in front of the rear exit. See it? It helps fit the pilot right in there. Theres a 3 stud high slanted piece, and a one stud slanted down piece, and fits right beneath the window attachment.

Very Good! It's a little blocky, but on such a small scale, it's hard to get any better. You might want to try and get ahold of the second pilot though!------------Michael. P.S. I like yours better than Luke's.:-)
