I believe I have just made the first-ever rock crawler chassis! Hope you like.
About this creation
Wanna make this rock crawler chassis for TT scale off-roaders/rock-crawlers/racing buggies? this chassis features axles for the front and back that twist till they meet the fenders of your car! it even has a light "suspension" feel if you press it lightly - don't do it too hard though, or the next thing you know there'll be bricks everywhere. these is a chassis just about everyone with a tiny bit of technic and some car parts could make. I made sure I had extra-clear instructions, for ignoramuses, yanno?
'kay, read the following, then!
Take four rims of your choice, and tires to match them. Then attach them to the axles.
Now we progress to the middle part, or the actual functioning part. Take two 2x2 plate with technic pin hole, one 2x2 plate with two technic pin holes, and two black technic pins.
When you're finished with step 2, your functioning yet axle-less rock crawler chassis should look like this:
awite, now attach the axles with wheels. It should look like this:
'kay? Now, you can do almost anything with your chassis now. Perch it on rocks! Wheeeee!
Notice, if you're going to make a custom body for this, you need to put a 2x2 plate on the middle gray part. otherwise, the body would be too close to the chassis, so it wouldn't be able to turn. Much.
here's the custom body I made for mine.
Hope you liked it! Feel free to use this chassis anytime in your MOCs, but please remember to add who the original creator was. kthanxbai
