This is a follow up and the completion of the Baseship
About this creation
Welcome to the completed Cylon Baseship
This model has 6894 pieces in its construction and I am glad that it is finished
It took a bit of effort to get it to stay in one piece with out collapsing.
now it is my finest achievement until the next model
I built it so it could spin around like it did in the BSG movie The Plan.
The only problem with that is the base is slightly off set so just before I took any photos I heard a unclipping sound (CRACK) of bricks and quickly saved it from buckling under its own weight on the stand and had to support it physically ...then took some photos.
Thank you for looking ....I hope you like it as much as I did making it.
Now it is time to dismantle it for the next Battlestar.

HOW DO YOU DO IT?!?!?! THE BRICKS, THE AMOUNT!!! Where does the money come from? LOL great work bud. This is another masterpiece.
Thank you once again Peter. Being a bricklink buyer I look for the best deals for large quantities at the best price PLUS shipping HAHA.
All models are dismantled then used to build the next monster. Cheers Peter
wow take it apart why would you it is awsome, and i understand that sound, it is the sound of devistation, it has happened to me several times before, BOOM! destruction. :) 5/5 could you check this out. http://mocpages.com/moc.php/208704
Quoting El Barto !
Love the "Baseships over Picon" scene! Or is it Aerelon?
Greetings El Barto thanks for your nice comment and lets say Picon because its just a one of those images from the net.
I said the war is on. Thank you for your other nice comments great encouragement to do better. there will be more space images as time goes by.
.....LONG LIVE THE TOASTERS....
A 'little' obsessed? I know I'm way past a little. Anyway, I was working on a stand for my battlestar, but then I got to working on that resurrection ship, without much success, obviously, I used up most of those technic pieces. Maybe I'll get back to that and try some cut and paste, too. And in a fire fight, I like my chances against your baseship!
Quoting El Barto !
I'm shocked that this has only gotten 4 comments so far. Would putting it over a planet-scape make it more awesome? Is BSG off the radar or something?
Thank you El Barto I have just pulled out the big computer from storage so stay tuned for cut and paste graphics. Have you got any pics of your bsg underbelly. This one has been half recycled....THE WAR IS ON...Toasters now rule...
This thing is a monster! The detail is quite realistic. That one stud-offset-technique you described is a clever idea. Weight at that scale is a real problem. Better take more pictures before you recycle it...Nice work!
