Those that dare to plot against Emperor Palpatine.
About this creation
The Imperial conspirators
As Palpatine's empire grows so do his enemies, some from within.
Fed up with the secret and dark religion that dominates Palpatine's court,
a cabal of high ranking imperials plan to seize power and topple the Sith lords.
Ultimately their scheme fails through the conspirators distrust, sedition, ambition,
and a little Sith instinct.
These pictures illustrate the fate of those that dare to go against The Emperor.

The Conspirators

The Plan Within Palpatine's palace the plan is hatched. Lord Vader will be sent off on a wild goose chase and killed by a bomb on board the Star Destroyer he is on. Emperor Palpatine will be blown up by a bomb on his shuttle, as he visits the Death Star. All so simple.

Captain Carsan (Dead) Killed by the troops he had trained to obey and have loyalty to Grand Moff Trachta. His first order was to kill Captain Carsan.

Grand Moff Trachta (Dead) Leader of the scheme, Trachta had been planning the over throw of Sith Lord for ten years. He hated the Sith religion as much as the Jedi he had helped to exterminate. He was killed by Gauer, who wanted to shift power to Moff Bartam.

Moff Bartam (Dead) A politician, he had seen power and wealth for himself in the scheme. He was killed by General Skosef after he was implemented in the bombing of Palpatine. We will never know why Skosef shot Bartam, but he was probably trying to cover the trail.

General Skosef (Dead) Planned the bombing of the imperial shuttle to kill Palpatine. When the bombing did not work, he went and shot Moff Bartam. Predictably Moff Bartam's guard shot Skosef dead.

Gauer (fate unknown) A mysterious character who seems to have an allegiance to Moff Bartam. He led the assault on the Throne Room with Moff Kadir, but he ran at the first sign of the fearsome Red Guards.

Grand Moff Trachta’s Stormtrooper Detachment As the stormtroopers assault the Throne Room, Palpatine’s elite Red Guards spring into action to protect his person. As the assault intensifies the Sith Lord emits Sith Lighting from his hands and the assault is soon quelled.

Moff Kadir (Dead) A young and talented imperial officer who held the command of Coruscent Security. After been frustrated by a lack of real power and constantly been under manned, he found himself in the company of the conspirators. He never really understood the power of the Sith until he led the assault on the Throne Room and found himself on the wrong end of Sith Lightning.

Captain Dezsetes (Dead) Had taken on the assassination of Darth Vader on board the Star Destroyer Mathayus. A bomb planted in a Rebel space craft was supposed to kill Darth Vader but having survived this he tracked the plot back to Dezsetes and after a short interrogation was shot at Vader’s command.

This is great! Only problem is (it will sound stupid) is the fact that the last dead guy is smiling at us when he just got killed! It doesn't really matter though. Good job! |

Dude can't believe you did this! Best lego SW comic I have read! Love how you introduced the characters and went through each scene with their sub-betrayals. Ironic that the only thing these Imperials accomplished was getting rid of themselves. A good lesson! Can not trust men vying for over throw or power in an Empire >_<. |

Its good. FYI: Skosef shot Bartam on Trachtas orders because Trachta thought that Bartam was plotting against him, but it was Moff Kadir who wanted Trachta dead. The info is in the Star Wars Fact File. |

Finally an Empire Volume moc. Could you make more? Accept for the flesh colored Imperial officer, and black spears instead of proper forcepikes it looks just like the comic. Extra points for the incredible backgrounds, spify custom blasters, and sweat visual effects. Post script: I thought the red lady in Betrayal was a Zeltron instead of a Lethian Twilek, could be wrong though. |

I like how you have your own signature way of making custom minifig faces. I have noticed a unique style in how you do that. This is a very interesting and cool MOC. So I'm guessing that these are like Imperial Rebels? Very cool idea as well. |
