this was one of the first bionicles i ever saw on mocpages.

I'm not a huge fan of mech nor of Aztec-ish type stuff, but this thing is incredible! It looks very mean. I especially like the (I presume) bag of skulls hanging off him - very intimidating. What to say? - The way the operator sits, the chain weapon, the shield, the spikes, the chanters, and a funny take on it all....just excellent!

this is really good. at first i thought that a tribe was visited by aliens and gave them tech a bit of a stretch but when i was younger i did something like that with the exo-force. Any way, this is a great build, awesome imagination, a cool shield design,cool figures, and a very big sac of skulls.

Finally get the chance to comment on that marvellous MOC (problem of slow MOCpages before) - What can be said after all the comments ? Well, usually I'm not a big, big fan of Mecha, but here you've got something that is above 99,5 % of all MOCs in this category. The idea is pure genius and the execution is truly a work of Art !!!

It is very clever, and you are certainly thinking way outside the box (a good thing). The joint design is just too simple for me to overlook on this one to give it a fiver, but it is certainly worth four (4) points. Lee.

Thanks everyone! I struggled for three whole evenings on this one. It was a real mess until I went through my minifig weapons drawer; it just seemed to come together once I found the old Islander shields.

This creation is priceless. The skull sack, just awesome. Shields shield, awesome. Bionicle head adapted, awesome. Your moc, MORE than awesome.

really a great entry. Stylish, imaginative. Love the flail and the shield. The dongpit is great, and the bokors are well portraited. I just don't agree much with the arms (as a matter of fact, I don't like them in the slightest) they're blocky and their joints are ugly. Still, this is good for 4 points.

Alex, that's superb. Totally different take on Mech and I hope the rest of the judges agree with Keith. Love the chanters, the skull pouch (there's a Phipson moment to be had with that placement) the bionicle head as canopy looks just right. Great job.

The heads fastened to the lances are fantastic, as well as the whole MOC.
