As my Clone Wars entry for the 2010 Moc Athalon, here is my episode called "A New Threat" for obvious reasons. Chitchat over with, here goes.
About this creation
Clone 1 (left): "Well, number 378,564, we're here. I still can't believe we got picked out of all us Clones.... We're so lucky to be getting the blueprints to the Weapon."
Clone 2: "Yes. I'm sure Master Yoda will be quite pleased. When do we get picked up?"
Clone 1: "Tomorrow morning at the port. The Venator is picking us up personally."
Clone 1: "Ah, here it is. I hope we aren't late for our meeting."
Clone 2: "Oh, come on! We'll be fine. Just as long as no one's pressed all the buttons in the elevator again.
Clone 1: "Who cares about that. This meeting could actually decide who wins this cursed war. Let's go."
Clone 2: "We're here! Phew! I thought the elevator shaft would break and we'd plummet to our deaths! I just hope the doors haven't been stuck together."
Clone 1: *Sigh*
Clone 2: "Never mind. You're not even listening to me."
Clone 1: "No, just stop being all paranoid. I mean, seriously, most clones are practically robots, talking in big numbers and what not. It seems like you're the only one with personality!"
Clone 2: "Zone 24584 is under attack. Troops deployed to upheaval."
Clone 1: "Oh, stop your mindless blithering."
The elevator doors slide open as the Clones enter the secret office in their tower.
Clone 1: "Greetings, Master."
Odd voice in hologram beam: "Hello, duplicate. You don't know how tired I am of seeing perfectly identical people...."
Clone 2: "No, no sir, we don't mind, just as long as we don't get cursed by your words. I'd like to return one more time to Mos Eisley."
Clone 1: *Facepalm*
Mysterious voice: "The Weapon is ready. Pick up the blueprint at the warehouse we talked about eariler. You know the one."
Clone 2: "Yes, the one at.... A certain location. We'll be there. But what if the worst happens?"
Clone 1: "But what COULD thwart us now? The Sith is done with. As soon as the Weapon is developed we'll be indestructable."
Mysterious voice: "Ah, you will be surprised. Perhaps that spy right behind you could be the key to our loss. Those Shadow Troopers.... Always betraying us."
Meanwhile at a hidden Rebel base....
"Yes sir. I'm sure I heard it. The blueprints are finished. They are going to be picked up at a warehouse in Coruscant."
A reply gargles on the walkie-talkie.
"Yes.... Yes, okay. They're on their way."
Also, simutaneously at a factory far away.....
A scratchy voice booms suddenly over the loudspeakers in the droid factories in an industrialized asteroid. "Attention! Sector 35 West will immediately report to the loading bay to depart on a mission. In the capital city on Coruscant some Clones were spotted in a meeting with an unidentified person. Your mission is to destroy them by 2200 hours. Good luck."
The droids below in the generator room perk up their heads to listen to the announcement. Surges of electricity go through their mechanical chassises.....
Droid: "Yes.... We will report immediately to the speeders, Sir."
The droids stalk off to the loading bay, quickly trying to foil the Clones in their mysterious mission on Coruscant.
Off at the loading bay of the droid industrial sector, the droids plan out their dire mission to thwart the Republic and their current important plans which could decide the fate of the galaxy....
Back droid: "Sir, what would happen if they have this whole thing as a trap? We could end up as the weapons used by the Jedi to destroy our own alliances."
Front droid: "Silence, imbecile! This is not a trap. Our Master and Dooku both say we are heading upon the right path. The Jedi will not be able to bring their troops to Coruscant by the time we get there. We would even be able to get reinforcements, if they can come from nearby. If this was a trap.... We would know."
Flying low over dangerous, fleeting terrain, the droids head toward the place where the clones were last seen.... The capital city of Coruscant.
Elite Assassin Droid: "Roger that. We're over the western lava river on Mustafar. We'll reach Coruscant in just a matter of hours."
Mysterious Voice: "Good. If we let those clones get their hands on those blueprints, the Republic will have us overrun in just weeks. Remember, the fusion reactor has the same effect as the superlaser we've been developing in the factories. If they improve from just the prototypes each will be powerful enough to destroy an entire city. And that would mean war."
What will happen? Could this mean the end of the Sith? A whole new type of galaxy with justice enforced? Stay tuned to see.... On episode #9,370.
Notes: I've been working on this episode for a while now, and realizing an episode, not just a scene, is what the judges wanted for this particular category, I made a bunch of smaller scenes, then made one big episode. As for those elevator doors, they just are sideways doors out of bricks that slide on a line of grill tiles. Also, noting that the judges also like minifig action, I realized I'd probably only get a 1 or 2 on this, so I scraped together all my Star Wars figs and used them here. Having not own a single Clone Wars set, I had to make un-themey scenes, as you may notice from the vast sea of gray. But I honestly think it looks half decent, because there aren't really many Clone Wars buildings in sets, besides AFTER the Clone Wars, in the later movies, technically older ones, where Anikin is grown and in some parts already on the Sith side. As for the Mustafar scene, I needed a fairly big base, but the smallest I could deploy at the moment was a green 32x32, and since I wasn't able to landscape the whole thing with lava and rocks, there's an obvious distracting air to it. That aside.... Hope you liked it!
You have what you have - I am not going to hold it against you if you don't have any of the official 'clone troopers', the stormies are close enough for me. Nice little build, but I can't give it more than three (3) points. Lee.
Wow, that was awesome! Maybe the judges won't notice if we don't mention that the clones are storm troo-.... GAAAHHHH!!! Uuuuuhhhhh, yeah. Sorry.....
But, yeah... An Eleven-ten year old can only own so much lego! Not that biggy of a dealio'. But anyways, The elavator/lift was made very well!
