great vig, that last statement is so true. I myself have found that the warmth and friendship from mocpages a great help when it feels like the world is falling around your feet. |

Quoting Jeff F. (Freela)
It's starting to hit me like, a, um, two-ton... heavy thing. (Listen to the beginning of Queensryche's "Empire" to understand that.)
No need, I'm quite familiar with that epic album. 'Got an AK-47 for his best friend, business the American way...' I'm a sucker for most Seattle music, especially the mighty Pearl Jam. Thanks for the comment.~H |

Finally...someone summed it up. I am just now getting to check out all the great stuff from the Moc Athalon. This is a very cool vig. |

Yes, life can be tough. 2 points. Deal with it. (fourth point commentary: this is very cool, so really it's a 4) |

I gotta give the props to the Lego community as a whole here. In my entire life, never have I come across a community that is more outgoing, helpful and just plain NICE as the people I've met here. Your vig is GREAT! The build itself, while portraying something that we all feel from time to time, is top notch! Simple yet perfect in every way. Good show sir! ~ Chris. |

Very well done - the lettering is top notch, and beautiful photography. Four (4) points to you. Lee. |

ALMOST could have been conceptual (minifig would have been a no-no). It's very nice and something I haven't seen. I award 4 points. |

Man, your MOCs just keep getting better and better! I agree life can be tough some times (believe me. I've been there), but it's nice to know that something as simple as putting some plastic bricks together can help you forget it all and maybe even smile:) |

Wow, impressive meaning. This might have worked in conceptual as well. But seriously... shouldn't you be over the naked minifigure phase? |

This is a superb vig Hans! I really like how you captured the feeling of life falling upon us unexpectedly! It happens to the best of us my friend! Just remember there are many of us out there who understand, and we'll always be here even when you're not up to it! Build on brother! |

First off, great vig. Very true. Secondly, I have to say that this is the only MOC I have ever seen where the black and white checkerboard tiles fit the theme and are not just distracting filler. The contrast adds tension to the piece nicely. Superb work, friend. |

Thanks, Hans. Sorry about being unclear with the whole vignette thing. This is an amazing entry, and one I can actually relate to. School+LEGO competition+more school=STRESS. Anyways, thanks for the entry. It is very good :) |
