Borderguardsman Larry was never the best early warning system...
About this creation
A Blutonian warship sneaks past a Redsylvanian guard post while the Guardsman is distracted with this month's issue of Floating Rocks and Steam-powered Clocks.
A closeup of the distracted Guardsman. His supervisors would probably have his hat if they found out about this... Luckily for him they'll be a little busy being dead in a few hours time.
Here's where he keeps his rifle, some signal grenades, and a magnifying glass (For the swimsuit issues). The wrench is there in case the rock ever starts losing altitude. Afterall, percussive maintenance is what the glorious Redsylvanian Empire is founded on!
Like any good lookout post, this one comes stocked with Chicken and Booze. Not the best of combinations, given this one is a floating rock.
An overview of the whole rock. Note the communications antennae. The odd looking black box from earlier hooks up to this array. It's literally less than a foot from our distracted hero. That means he could have prevented an entire sneak attack by putting down the magazine and turning his head 90 degrees.
That's it. Now, onward to the commentary!
This was basically an experiment in Forced Perspective, and an excuse to show off my new photo setup. I got me a light box! That means almost all of my pics are going to be this pretty. And that's about it...
Thanks for stopping by folks! Be sure to leave me a comment or three!
@Garth: I'd have the same problem...
@John: It's quite a fun phrase. I think I pulled if out of TF2... Oddly enough it seemed to work for my old computer though.
@Waffles: An army marches on it's stomach, but a watchpost sits on it.
