The Cylon Raider is an FTL capable fighter. It has no pilot, and is in fact itself a bio-mechanical Cylon. Able to resurrect like a humanoid Cylon, the Raider can learn from one life to the next. Unlike the Centurions, the Raiders are self aware. However their intelligence is more like that of a trained animal. They can carry both conventional and nuclear weapons.

Vaguely... I think Trek had a few of those scenarios, too. It certainly doesn't mesh with the re-imagined Cylons--Yikes! |
