All Terrain Attack Pod (AT-AP)
About this creation
Here's my second Star Wars MOC, an AT-AP (all terrain attack pod). The original LEGO set is actually pretty close to the 'real' thing, but still I thought it wasn't quite right. I've seen some other AT-APs here on MOCpages, and I must say there are great creations among them. However, in my opinion, the size is not always right. I've spent a lot of time trying to get this right, although some official Star Wars sources are actually non compatible with each other. However, during the battle of felucia, AT-APs can be seen with AT-TEs in the same shot. Now, as the size of AT-TEs is pretty well known, this is the best reference we have in my opinion. In addition, there has to be room for 2 'pilots' inside the walker. So, in short, I've tried my best to get this thing right, and this is the result.
