A-10 attack Terminator Salvation
Based on the opening scene from Terminator Salvation. Note: some artistic license was taken.
About this creation
The A-10 is the perfect plane for Terminator Salvation, it is rugged, ugly, and has a big gun.

I resolved to build the scenery without any bricklink orders...

I remember reading that bricklinking parts is an addiction...
Spitfire landed
They were right. I was shocked by how small my assortment of tan pieces is.
Spitfire landed
Also keeping the ice cream pieces together was one of the most excruciating things I've ever had in a moc,
Spitfire landed
which is why I am so glad I finally get to reveal this month long project.
Spitfire landed
This was my first big scene built with studs out, which made getting the dish to stay a bit of an adventure as was how to get the A-10 to stay up. (Also note the dust trail effect next to the wing of the A-10)
Spitfire landed
Due to my resolve to not bricklink any parts, I eventually used all my tan bricks so I had to brake down and use plates on one side, but I'm rather happy with the result.

This is a beautiful scene with a nice amount of action! I love the snot technique for the base (I use that quite a bit). You're right about tan pieces. I thought I had a ton, till I put them all together:) I'd love to see some more detail pics of the mech, though.

I don-t think the A-10 is ugly!! On the Contrary, I think its (Hoover) Dam hot!!!(LOL). its a nice use of your A-10, too. though i'm not sure about the scaling. ill look that up real quick...im back. couldn't find any good shots, but its near to scale. planes a bit big. overall good job!!!
