Rock Raiders: New Mission
The set faking goes on...
About this creation
Earth alliance report #3827372237293834772727388: Ref.:Economy mining operations

June, 2989. After months of repairs and staff choice, the mining ship L.M.S. Explorers is sent to its new mission. A planet in the Vasarius system was found with a big amount of energy crystal sources.

The first mission after the fatal lost of the ship into another galaxy will be lead again by the chief, aside, the mining expert Docs and Alan Gibbson are the only high ranked members of the first team. Gibbson will be the first officer after the chief on this mission. Following a list of the newest mining vehicles.

A simple impulse set for a possible second Rock Raiders series. Contains a geologist and a slime slug baby.

The personal high-tech mecha prefered used by the chief himself was constructed by VW mecha enterprises, who build the best mechs on earth. Unfortunately most of their head developers were enticed away by different Maox branches now.

Equipped with air-oxygen-fusion drive (We donít know why it needs it), a heavy stone drill and a robot arm this machine is a far more flexible vehicle to use than the old Granite Grinder.
Set includes the chief, because the original RR series only brought him in a collector minifig box.

Not the best picture but the heavy tunnel transport with his mobile crane is the strongest ground vehicle for carrying big things and a real alternate to the Hovership.
Set contains Alan Gibbson, Docs, Rock monster and a geologist.

Containers can be inclined or taken by magnetic grabbs like from the hovership.

The cave buggy is a flexible scout vehicle for bumpy undergrounds.
Set includes Docs and an adult slime slug.

Rock Raiders are one of my favourite Lego series in childhood and i got all sets, it was selled in the 90ís as more sci-fi based version of the actual Power miners. The curious thing is, that originally Lego planned to make them as real Space faction, the Insectoids were planned as their main enemies but TLG decided different and not to develop them further.
I tried some other mocs but those werenít really good so maybe iíll add some stuff later.

The slime slugs were part of the genious Rock Raiders video game as you can see here:

Next time, try making the packages seem more, you know, made by the LEGO Corp.

Nice job, I like the variety of sets you used, from the simple sets to the bigger, more expensive sets. you should make battle packs for these guys.

Very nice, I don't have any of these old sets, but I wish I do. I have a rock monster though. Great job!
