Built for the Enterprisers Team for the Superman's Interplanetary Zoo Category. A creature built for the 2010 MOCAthalon.
About this creation

So, this is a Wyvern, which is basically a little dragon that has two legs. The wing design is inspired by Bryce McGlone's. Built this for the 2010 MOCAthalon for The Enterprisers team. The category it was built for was Superman's Interplanetary Zoo.

A shot of its fully extended wingspan

Hope y'all like it.

I'm doing some research on last years themes. Mad props on this one. You caught the organic nature of a beast perfectly.

Yes!! Finally! Someone who recohnizes the difference between a dragon and a wyvern! The people I know are so out of touch. You have done an amazing job! One thing though... Wyverns have more of a muscled tail with a barb at the end (i've done research). Just a thought. Excellent work otherwise!

having no entries in the 2010 moc athon myself, and not being a judge, i have still been following some of the entries bc i feel people put forth their best effort when in competition. That seems the case here. amazing work - id have to say the best entry into the 2010 moc athon ive seen so far. i agree with lee - a more tapered or otherwise reshaped tail is about the only thing that could make this better. that said, sir, i believe you are at the precipice of LEGO nirvana here.

This is a great moc, and one of the best I have seen in this category. But just as I ran into a problem with Dylan B's castle entry, I run into one with this that I just can't let slide. The tail, the uniform diameter tail. Doesn't matter how much I try and ignore it, I can't. A beautiful moc, and it earns four (4) points from me. Lee.

This is exactly the kind of amazing stuff I'd hoped we see when we came up with the category. Dude, how many Ewok gliders do you have? 5 points.

I would be absolutely disgusted with myself if I gave this any less than a 5! An incredible entry! I love the use of ewok hang glider wings :) Addendum: those claws used as ribs are perfect.
