We're Not Alone - Ep 8 - Briefing Room Battle
Previously on We're Not Alone: The commandos made it back to the HQ. Erik had some flashbacks and talked with Ludwig about the flight back. They were interrupted by a loud speaker saying there was a emergency in briefing room 6-C (Where General Smith was).

Music for this episode:

The commandos finally came to the entrance of 6-C.

And just as luck would have it, two troopers came rushing to the scene.

Everyone stopped

and Erik looked at all of them.

"Alright, I'm guessing there's a monster in there so here's the plan, we're going to run past the monster and blow it up from behind, when it's distracted."

Erik looked behind him and saw that there was a monster and that it was running towards the south west corner of the room.

"Here's our chance, now or never...visors down!

*Click*

"Go, Go, Go!!"

All of them stormed the room quickly, running past the monster.

Erik turned and saw the monster bent over dismantling a trooper. The monster ripped out his right arm and the man screamed out in pain. Blood started to pour out.

The commandos continued to run.

Erik then turned and saw General Smith in the corner who was barely alive. His left leg looked bloody. Erik called out to Duncan, "Duncan, check on General Smith!"

The monster turned and noticed the team running in the room.

It pounced and luckily Samuel wasn't in the way, but a normal trooper was

The monster began stabbed the trooper right through the heart.

Duncan ran over to General Smith. "Thank goodness you've come," the general said, "You're just in time, now let's kill this thing."

Two commandos hid behind a bench on the left,

and two commandos hid behind a bench on the right.

"Ready? Fire!!!"

All of them opened fire on the monster.

At the moment when they fired, with lightning reflexes, the monster jerked it's head and had it's eye glow bright red as if it was getting very angry.

It then jumped high in the air towards the corner where General Smith was.

"Duncan! Look out! Move out of the way!"

"What?"

The monster charged.

"Ahhhhhh!" Duncan yelled out of shock.

"Move Duncan!" General Smith ordered

Duncan followed orders and turned. General Smith fired at the oncomming monster.

But it was too, late, the monster sunk it's gritty claws into General Smith's chest as he was still firing

General Smith was dead...

The monster turned and looked at shocked Duncan who stood there in awe.

The monster scooted forward quickly and backhanded Duncan in the chest,

which sent Duncan flying backwards,

which sent him

into the other soldier.

The monster's eye glowed bright red yet again and

without hesitation pounced towards it's next victim...Erik

Erik sat there amazed that his commanding officer had just been killed.

The monster landed on the podium and began to descend apon Erik.

Erik hastily pulled the trigger on his gun sending a shot right towards the on coming monster.

He hit it right in it's weak spot.

The monster's body fell right on Erik while it's head landed on the bench next to him. The body felt like it weighed a million pounds. It knocked the wind out of Erik and smacked his helmet really hard...he began to black out.

*Music should end here*

"Uhhh...nnnhnunhh"

"L..uhh"

"Meh...uuhhh..."

...

Notes:

Hey, sorry about all the cheezy open mouths, blood, and blackout. It was kinda hard to pull off, and I'm kinda disappointed in it.

But you'll probably notice how the picture quality itself went up by a lot. It's not pixelated anymore so I'm happy with that.

Tell me how you liked the music too!

Anyway, you can join the We're Not Alone Group HERE and you can talk about this episode, talk about where you think the series is going, and where you can find all the episodes neatly organized!

Oh, and sorry for saying that this episode was going to be posted last week (Again!). I just couldn't get everything organized in time and this episode almost wasn't posted because my relatives came over and I was entertaining the whole time practically. =D

Feel free to rate, comment, add me as your favorite builder, and check out the rest of my creations!

Thanks everyone!

This series is totally gripping. This could seriously be made into some sort of book, with a few modifications. I'm serious. 100/5 ~Waff

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR WNA: This and all episodes are going to be rewritten in a little bit. Nothing huge in the story line will change, but minor details, and stuff that sounds stupid will change. Thanks!

Quoting dudecoolperson s The music is great and so is the story. But how did the creature not hear them coming and how did the creature get back to the base?
The creature did hear them coming into the room...sort of. He was feeding/tearing apart a soldier while they were sprinting in.
Quoting Jonathan Ladner This is cool, but some of it was unrealistic, like waiting for the order to fire in the middle of the creature rampaging through the room : good storyline so far though
Yes, I am changing the "waiting to fire" thing in a little bit. Over at the We're Not Alone group we're discussing lots of changes! Get over there if you'd like to see something different because I always would like to hear from the readers than myself!

Quoting Nufalak of Mythada Not bad. The story is decent enough, but the music ended much too early. Try working on timing for the next chapter :)
Thanks! I'll try!

Quoting Christian Schlichting Great action, good pics now. The room is nice, could have some more details like tiled benches or a second colour in general. The station looks so oversterilised.
Ok, yeah, I'll switch it up soon in the next episode! It actually will be a great time to do so.
Quoting Matt Flanagan very nice, is this season 2?
Yes, Yes it is. It said that it started last episode. ;)

Amazing job, there was a whole lot of action in this one, just too bad general had to die. Great job! also why is the monster missing it's armor? I just added part seven of my "Dark Infection 2" series, if you want to check it out.
