Team Pride/Mysterion
About this creation
The small town of Boreville was celebrating its 300th year anniversary. Now, nothing ever happens in this little boring town, so its inhabitants were unprepared for the events of March 24, 2057.

(Side view.)
As the townspeople were celebrating, a mysterious object appeared, seemingly out of nowhere. Obviously, the people of Boreville, who are so used to nothing going on in their lives, panicked.

(Proboscis like arm with light. Probably used to investigate unknown items closer.)
The object circled the town several times, coming lower and lower each time. Eventually the object was only a few feet from the ground.

(Other arm grabber mode(top) and neutral mode(bottom).)
Then it reached out and grabbed a plant (With an Octan Gas advertisement, worth noting.) and simply vanished. The significance of this is still unknown.

Scientists studied the several videos taken by the townspeople of the object, finally concluding that it is a science and research vessel, due to the lack of any weapons.

Great build and a great story to go with it! Nice little building techniques on the claws. God bless, Drew |

Well, it has clean lines; although, it does not seem to fit the cube criteria very well. Three (3) points. Lee. |

Nice work man. Looks like a tough category to me, and I like the tiling work. -Sam |

Nice one. I like the way those brackets add to its look. Even if the canopy is not a perfect Cube, hey, we can all tell this is a Mysterion anyway. 3 points. |

This is a really nice Mysterion object. I've tried building Mysterion before and it's kinda hard to get right, but I feel you've done the theme justice. The accompanying writing complements the build very well and I've always loved the concept of Octan in the lego universe... it always seemed so conceivable to me. I'ma build some Octan, I've decided.
Nice words. Thanks. |
