The original Aerial Troop Carrier(ATC) served much purpose for Cyberstorm Assault teams, but technicians pondered if there was any more they could do to improve the status of the ATC. Located at Lab Section 4, began one of the biggest improvement projects in L.S.S.D. F. history. Hydronaut specialist were transported from their Hydronaut Lab in the Beta sector to work on this. They harvested the strongest materials from under the sea and applied them to the Armored Aerial Troop Carrier.
The problems with the original ATC was it didn't pack enough space for troops, insufficient weapon compacity, slow speed, and light armor.
The Cyberstorm engineers worked for 2 months, but finally uncovered their masterpiece. Using a light and stronger material than Titanium, Antazmiton, it allowed for the carrier to endure more of a beating, but at the same time reduced weight allowing it to get away faster.
The test run of the AATC proved successful during Operation Night Strike when Cyberstorm Strike Team Delta was deployed 30000 meters South East of Cyberstorm HQ to neutralize a Xentox Weapons plant. The AATC was undiscovered by radar sensors, allowing a swift strike and a smoothe evac procedure. The AATC massive array of weapons provided enough cover fire to suppress chasing enemies of Cyberstorm Delta.
The AATC is fairly new and will prove to provide the necessary firepower needed through the Cyberstorm Defense Force to finally eliminate the Xentox threat once and for all.
