It took a lifetime, but I finally found
The perfect waffle recipe

Yeah! I haven't built a castle since 1990! That was fun! This creation was the bee in my bonnet over Christmas break. A long time coming, it is a relief to be done! I consider it the crown jewel of my Weird Al collection, so you should too.
I want to thank my wife for taking the pictures. Get this, gentlemen: this creation was photographed by her on VALENTINE'S DAY. And she's not even one of those people who doesn't care about overly-commercialized holidays. So, after our incredibly romantic date in the afternoon, she bit the bullet and grabbed her camera. Oh, and these pictures were brilliant! I didn't even need to edit them (besides cropping). Thanks, sweetie.
One last picture, just because I spent so much time on these areas, and didn't feel like they were seen well in the pictures. The entire left side of the castle was landscaped, too, but didn't get seen.
One last note - the waffle was originally supposed to have toppings, but I gave that up. Every time I tried to make them, I just got hungry!
***BONUS*** My 18-month old son is in one of the photo backgrounds. A comment to the first to find it!

Is he the charming young boy in the frame above the line, "People say : right this way sir.... your moneys no good here"? I hope I got it right, Because I don't know why there would be a boy that you aren't the father of in that room..... *shudders* |

Hey! Waffle King! Very nice set - huge and elaborate. Yes, I saw Nathan (or rather the back of his head in there!) Some of the details cracked me up - the "oil can" syrup dispensers, the waffle cooking throne. I'm gonna have this song stuck in my head all day now. |

Fantastic! The build is great and conveys the attitude of the song -- it's a triumph! Really like the brooms over the doorway, the yellow tile of the arch, and especially the waffle making area. |

Okay, now to actually comment on this thing. This is definately your best yet; the sets are perfect, but as you noticed, didn't quite get enough screen time for all the work you put in. And may I add that your wife's picture taking is spot-on perfect? You should go thank her a couple dozen more times for doing such a great job. It's really the icing on the cake. |
