Here it is! The first Starmark vehicle to include red pieces and a logo (located at the front of the craft)! This is the Starmark Union’s workhorse. Using another name for a dragonfly (“mosquito hawk” sounds more dangerous, don’t you think?), and named so because of its fuselage configuration and ability to hover in one place and fly backwards, the “Mosquito Hawk”-class Dropship is crewed by a pilot and a co-pilot/navigator, and can carry cargo with a weight of up to twenty tons.
The M-K Dropship is a key resource for the Union, capable of airlifting supplies, light vehicles (I’m being literal here, I do mean light!), and troops. Relatively cheap to produce, it is lightly armed, but deceptively fast and agile. The secret to its success as a carrier vehicle is the magnet system used to lift its cargo. After four or five failed attempts this past week to design a working dropship, I stumbled across these magnet pieces in my collection, and voila, a design popped into my head…but I digress. The M-K can be equipped with attachments other than a magnet harness. These include a quad machine cannon, as illustrated below, bomb racks with variable payloads (still in development), and small drone scouts (also in development. I will post them as they are completed). It is armed with two rapid-fire 50mm AA guns, for defense against enemy fighter threats. And for those of you that think this design looks familiar, it is based heavily on the newer Mars Mission-LEGO series MX-71 Recon Dropship, set #7692. I like being technical!
About this creation
You see? A logo! It’s just a sticker I got from my little brother’s space police set. He doesn’t like stickers much.
You can see the magnet hanging down from the tail there, and some greebles to appease Brick Freak behind the gun.
Rear view here. It’s not the best picture, I might upload some better ones later on.
This is an overhead view of the back. I think it’s a bit better than the previous pic.

Ah, something important here. This is just a standard cargo crate awaiting transportation. That knob on the top is the corresponding magnet to the one above it. The knob is a regular 2x2-type brick that will attach to any stud.
Here is a slightly fuzzy view of the connected magnets.
This is an example shot of what an alternate attachment would look like. This quad cannon transforms the M-K into a heavy fighter or base defense.
The quad cannon close-up.
I had to use the flash because it was getting kinda dark. I will probably be uploading better pics. This is the altitude jets in their lift position. They can turn a full 360 degrees and initiate reverse thrust in an emergency, although they might scorch the M-K’s paint. :)
Here’s a shot of the top hatch. This is the hatch the pilots actually use to enter the craft.
Here’s the front hatch open, too. It’s mostly for people with large hands to buckle the pilot’s seatbelt for him.
This is a cutaway view of the cockpit. The co-pilot was out on coffee break during the photo shoot so Reggie the Supermodel stepped in to help. Thanks again, Reggie! Check him out in my other MOC, “Reggie With a Minigun!”

Great use of the big UFO curves. I'd bet you a dollar that you got them from ogel's undersea base. |

Hey, really nice one. Just love the thrusters back on the tail. I think Reggie is doing a great job back there, he´s really good photo-material! This ship reminds of those in the movie with tom cruise.. minority report. Good movie and good moc by you. Thanks for your comment! |

it does look like a dragonfly. but wouldn't this be an atmosheric craft?
Nope. Although it obviously does have atmospheric capabilities, this is one Starmark vehicle that can make it to space. |
