I made this to go with a set of 1:43 scale red, white and blue Minis.

This is a fairly simple model of the bus from the original 1969 film 'The Italian Job'. It's 1:43 scale to match the Minis, so it's 7 studs wide. The rear doors open so Michael Caine and co. and hurl them down the cliff ..

OK, got it. The roof technique looks very tasty, compact, and sturdy. There are two key part types I would have to buy to implement that. Not surprisingly, they are right up your alley. Thanks again.
