Hey guys, uploading the latest Apocalego installment! Sorry it took so long.
On with the show...
Diary, three days after crossing (or trying to cross) the bridge:
I was the last to wake up. That left me slightly peeved.
I woke and was momentarily blinded by the light. My eyes (after what seemed like an extremely long amount of time) adjusted and I saw I was in a city square.
Turning around I noticed John...but no one else. I asked him where we were and he launched into a lengthy explanation which I will recount here:
(From John's Point Of View:)
"While being attacked on the bridge me and you were apparently so wounded we blacked out. Jack, being the most heavily armored of us all just kept fighting, when suddenly, he says, there was a barrage of gunfire and the zombies started getting mowed down. He then said he blacked out from exhaustion."
"It seems three military remnant guys saw us and came to help. I woke up a day later and saw Jack was already awake. The military guys tended to our wounds while we were out. They went off a while ago to scout the area and told me to stay with you."
(Back to "Jericho's" journal: ) After his story I picked up my gun and examined it at a loss for words.
I stood up and stretched, hearing my muscles creak and bones crack all along my body.
We talked for a while, as he told me about the guys who had saved us.
Suddenly there was a man standing there, I pointed my gun at him.
Here's the conversation that took place: "Jericho": Who are you?! John: Put you're gun down! This is one of the men who saved us! Military guy: Sergeant "Sharp" Pulinski, at your service.
"Now c'mon, the Captain's waiting for us."
We walked for about 15 minutes, and arrived on some street, there was a chilling message saying "slay" graffitied on the wall in what looked a lot like blood...
A man dressed in a captains uniform walked over, here's what he said.
Pulinski: Sir! Brought patients sir!
Captain: Good. As you were. I'm Captain "Risk" Jones.
Jericho: Good to meet you Captain. I'm Jericho.
Jones: I see you wear military armor. A soldier were you?
Jericho: No sir, one of my friends was. when he died he left me his armor.
Jones: well it's time you met the rest of the crew.
"This young man over here is Austin. Picked him up West of here. wants to know everything there is to know about mechanics."
"And walking towards us now is Private "Doc" Sulivan. Our medic if you hadn't guessed already. How's the "anilization" of that substance going Doc?"
Sulivan: Doesn't seem to be blood, just red paint. How're you two feeling?
Jericho: Fine, if a little light-headed.
John: Better than ever.
Jericho: One thing I don't understand though: Why did I wake up last? I mean John was the most heavily wounded.
Sulivan: I haven't quite figured that out yet. The best I can come up with is you're body is becoming allergic to zombies.
Jones: Well not to change the subject or anything, but if you people are feeling better, we will be leaving this afternoon.
Jericho: I think we're feeling up too it. By the way Jack, are you coming with us?
Jack: Even a zombie hunter like myself can't travel alone forever. Of course I'm coming.
Austin: I have a question.
Jones: Fire away then. Pardon the pun.
Austin: Well...I was wondering if I could go with you guys. It's pretty boring going around with these people. I mean, trying to keep peace over a nation that doesn't exist anymore? Bo-o-o-orring.
Jericho: I think that would be fine. Just keep out from under our feet.
The day seemed to fly past. It was soon around 3 in the afternoon. We exchanged some last words...
...And went our separate ways.
Ah...Glad that's over with. It took a looooooooooong time to write this, let alone take the pics. Sorry there wasn't much action in this one, although I think it was interesting all the same.
