LOL! I've given it a lot of thought to add another company or two. Problem is I need to house them in a firehouse and don't have room in my house to put another firehouse. I have a firehouse in mind, too! That's the worst part. :)

No problem, John. Many people ask me about that. They wonder what piece is next to be replaced. Sadly, I really don't see anything going away anytime soon. :)

This is probably my favorite mid mount, great job, I too, love the Arrow XT are you going to start replacing some of the old appratus?

Actually, no. I'm quite happy with the fleet that I have. My oldest piece (Engine 8) was one of my first 6-wide apparatus. I've made some changes to the cab and pump over the years, but kept the body very much in tact. I like Engine 8 and am not ready to take it apart. If I do retire it at some point, I may keep it as a spare piece. Engine 9 I think is the second oldest piece. I like the look of it, too. So, that won't be going anywhere. Most of the aerials are new, with the oldest being TL-6. The rescues were all recently replaced. So, there's really not much to replace. : )

I don't know why I didn't comment on this earlier! Awesome job! You're mid-mounts always look so nice! Its gettin my thinkin... Any chance of gettin some pics of the updated bumper/ladder mount?

Mostly its for display....but, if I put a plate with pins or a brick with pins, its holds the ladder in place pretty well.

BTW, I had to tweak the truck a little bit. Turns out, it didn't fit in the firehouse! So, I had to shorten the front bumper, change the sirens and shorten the part that attaches the bucket to the ladder. Now, its a tight fit, but at least it fits!

Thanks for the comments guys! Believe it or not, it is based off of LTFD Tower Ladder 6, but with an XT cab. TL 6 is actually based off of a midmount in NY...I forgot the name. I want to say Floral Park. Matt, make it anyway. Its all good.
