My entry for round 1. The official name is "Take him out, quick and silent." Good luck John!
About this creation
Let me set the scene. An American commando squad was sent to take out an anti-ship emplacement, allowing American ships to storm the beach and take over a German outpost. While the squad stealthely moves in, a German guard patroling the trench stops, thinking he saw movement in the grass. That's when the sniper takes the shot...
Another view (besides the main pic). Nothing new in this pic.
The ghillie (or as ghillied as they could get in WWII) sniper. I used my new "Minifig head looking forward while lying down" technique. If you can figure out what I did, feel free to use it with credit to me (also ask first). He is wielding a woodland camo PTRS-41
A close up of the commando squad leader, me! I am using a colt M1911.
A shot of inside the trench. There is a mounted M1919 Browning, and a mounted FG42, both of which would have been better choices than a (purist) M1 Garand and a clear headshot.
A boring pic of the beach. I was originally going to add an anti-tank flak cannon emplacement, but found out I had no room for it. Oh well, you can imagine it's there.
An (almost) first person view from the German's standpoint.
Another almost first person view, this time from the sniper's standpoint.
The final almost first person view, from where I am this time.
Finally, the three-frond palm tree. I made it with 3 because I wanted something new, but also because I was too lazy to find the fourth.
By the way, this moc is completely purist. No Brickarms were used here.
That's all for my round 1 entry, good luck John!
