When the Space Police need a little extra muscle they call in a Commando Armored Combat Suit (C-ACS for short) The large feet and variable thrusters make it useful for missions on low gravity moons and astroids. I made the suit first and then decided it needed a small hanger. The glass makes it feel like it could be on a space ship or an enclosed base somewhere. Eventually I want make more individual suits and hangers. Someday I hope to make a whole base devoted to Space Police and their hardsuits. For this one I added the sword to make it seem more personal to the commando. It was pretty fun to build so I'm thinking of ordering some parts and building another one.

About this creation

Armed with a small cannon, mini missiles, and grenade launcher.

These were the arms I had built first before going over to the longer, skinnier arms. They can be swapped out depending on the mission.

My cat loves the camera and always does her best to interupt me. Usually she's laying on whatever Lego piece I'm trying to find or else she's running away with Legos. Sometimes I find random chewed up pieces lying around my house thanks to her.

The sword is a family heirloom dating back to before space colonization.

This is a different configuration that I like. I read the book "Starship Troopers" and the power armor in the book reminded me of this creation. I tweaked it a bit by adding a heavy gun that tilts and rotates, scaling down the fixed gun, and adding a flame gun.

They make that clip piece I used on the arm with a hole in it (check out the Atlantis Monster Crab Clash set if you don't know what I mean)so that has some potential. It might only come in black so far, that's why I didn't use it. I wanted to keep this hardsuit small so that's why the arms seem so slim. Someday I might make an all black stealth suit version of this armor.

This is a good suit. Nice job. On a side note I'd like you to join my Krill group, and start making soldiers for it. As a newly appointed enemy of the DA, I could really use the help of a good builder to flesh out the armies.

Thanks for the comment, this MOC needed some feedback. The sword is a nod to Exo-Force and to past warfare. I want to give this Commando suit a sword but I have yet to build one just right with the correct feel and proportions. This is also influenced by the MI armor from the Starship Troopers book.

Finally! I thought I clicked "disable comments" or something. It's one of my favorite MOCs. I like trying balance the details yet make it small and efficient and still fit a man inside.
