HSA-120 Deity
I love the smell of VTOL in the morning.
About this creation

Well, I have just been pumping these things out like crazy lately (oh shush, you), but I gotta admit it's been fun. The HSA-120 Deity: A-Variant (shown above) was designed for when the HSV-110 needs to get just a little farther onto the battlefield. Admittedly it's not a massively efficient design, but it gets the job done, and we're not too worried about carbon emissions on a far off planet now are we?

And you thought those little rails on top were useless. They actually serve as guides for hooking the two machines together. (Not that that was their purpose when I built the HSV some months ago)

It's been said that it looks like they're, erm, well, mating. They're not, though the idea of little jet-propelled-hover-drones is compelling.

Using the extra tank of fuel, the Deity actually mooches off of the HSV's engines for extra forward momentum.

Left side.

LIDAR dome and sensor array.

After drop-off all the HSV crew has to do is lug out the machine gun from the cabin. Unfortunately this configuration does NOT work with missile variants.

But Wait! Call in the next 15 minutes and we'll even throw in a B-Variant!

With the B-Variant, you too can transport up to FOUR soldiers and a pilot to the front lines! That's a 12 Million Dollar Value yours for only $19.99!

Prop close-up

Bottom, with two high-yield missiles and a cannon to clear you an LZ.

Down the nose. (not literally)

Another 360

Ha! and you thought I just modified the MSA-110 didn't you? Unfortunately, the Guardian had to go.

Unless I come up with something better, this is my Transport entry into the 3rd Fleet Moc-Off.

Good Day, and remember:
The UNE Wants YOU!

-oh, thanks for the music Areesta

Very nice work, John! You did really well with the color work this time, and I love the unique design. The form feels just a bit blocky to me, but still not bad. (And sometimes military machinery IS blocky!) Unfortunately, Ian just knocked it out of the ball park this time around, and I'm going to have to go with his MOC for my vote. Don't feel too bad, though...a solid entry to be sure!

Great continuation of your theme, though i'm now disturbed for the day thinking about the offspring of mating hoverdrones. Cute little jetpacks perhaps?

Quoting Ryz Wheeling Barrel of Monekys? what do they do, drive the VTOL craft? Or are they the slaves that take out the MG and seperate the HSV-110 and the HSA-120?
They do whatever you want 'em to. They're handy like that.
