About this creation

The patient is losing alot of blood as back in the early-mid 1800's, nobody had figured out a way to stop the bleeding.

It took several assistants to hold the patient down because he was moving around so much. Because anesthetic had not yet been invented, most people were very reluctant to have an operation due to the sheer pain.

The medical equipment used to cut open the limb. These would not have been cleaned until the last operation so one patient would have another person's blood going inside them from the knives used. This may also cause infection which the patient could later die from 'IF' they survived the operation.

The patient is in excrucating pain!

I love it! I love it! I love it!!! Man this is soooo good!!! Love the shot with the patient fleeing, his face is classic. Also the dude's face on the right in the first shot, he looks like he's enjoying it just a little too much. Awesome work, really really fantastic.
