Fig Yuri is exploring the snowy wilderness far above the clouds! What secrets does this place hold?
About this creation
Finally he finds a beaten path down. Look at him elegantly skiing downhill!

The presence of artificial structures seems to point to the presence of intelligent life...
As he crosses a very long wooden bridge, he finds he was sadly mistaken!

This part of the planet is mainly inhabited by a not too bright, yet stunningly handsome race of giants!
With a clever bit of low-rate diplomacy, Fig Yuri convinces this bug-eyed behemoth to carry him to his destination!

And here he is, on the Frozen Cliff of Folgar, looking for the lost Atlantidean Whatever! (and finding it)

On the way back to the landing site, Fig Yuri gets ambushed by a creepy Atlantis 8056 alternate! (I bought it there)

As he squares it off with the beast, who seems to want back the Atlantidean Whatchamacallit, we can't help wondering who shall emerge victorious!

I had so much fun there, that I simply forgot to bring along the sig-fig until the very last day!
In Folgaria you can ski for 4-6 hours (including lunch time) without doing the same track twice, if you wish.
The place was marvellous, and the snow felt like flour under my Bigfoots :)
(Luckily I have another 3 days to rest before returning to work! My legs are stiff and my back aches! And it's not all due to the skiing and ice skating!)
Note #1: The alternate model came out pretty well, don't you think? The set is good, I love those fins/teeth, and there are hinges in plenty :)
Note #2: I thought Ice Planet attire would be appropriate for the environment, don't you?
See some of my latest MOCs HERE :)
It's all in the mind, you know?

Comments are welcome :)

Was that main picture photoshopped or did you just happen to be standing on Mt. Everest while a shooting star was sliding by the beautiful scenery?
It's the genuine place. The Dolomites are just like that. |

Cute! I love taking my sigfig out for a stroll amongst the world sometimes and documenting it. This looks like it was a lot of fun. The set alternate was genius as well!! One more question..Was that main picture photoshopped or did you just happen to be standing on Mt. Everest while a shooting star was sliding by the beautiful scenery? |

Cool little adventure. I've never been skiing! Don't fancy breaking both my legs and my neck... haha, you think I'm joking but actually I would.
I am an OUTSTANDING teacher. I have never failed in training a friend from scratch in just a few hours. |

That was pretty funny. What you should of done though when fig Yuri is facing the "beast" is that he get's knocked off and starts rolling down some slope. Oh, and I have a new moc up. It's non star wars so I'm hoping you and some of the other AFOLs could comment on it when you get the time. |

Nice to see that mini-figs also get vacations. I took some mini-figs out in the snow recently and posted some pics of their adventures. That Atlantis set does have some great pieces, I need to buy a couple more. |

If I only wouldn´t have to wait until March for my next holidays... *sigh* . Those photos are awesome, such a beautiful landscape, the best for an Ice-Planet fig. Cool idea with the cliff, the light gives the scene a perfectly dramatic look. Hope you´re having a good time during your 3 days left! |
