Previously: After walking for more than a day, the group was attacked by Marauders. One of the travelers truned out to be an accomplice of the Marauders.

The survivors of the battle began to organize themselves.

Scout: "Well done everyone."

Jake looked at the scout with disgust.

Jake: "Well done? Well done!?"

"What do you mean 'well done'? Half of us are dead!"

Jake raised his gun to the scouts head.
Jake: "And all because you government morons never learned to aim!"

Tye: "Jake! Don't. We need him... alive."

Scout: "Put the gun down, son."

Jake looked into the man's eyes, his finger shaking on the trigger.
Tye: "Put the gun down Jake."

Jake slowly lowered the gun from the man's head.

The scout began walking away as he reached for the communicater on his back.
Scout: "Don't worry. I'll get us out of here."

Scout: "This is Deadlands Scout E-54. Are there any vehicles orbiting sector D-05?"

"I have four survivors that need transportation."

The pilots of a transport heard the message.
"Copy that E-54. This is Raven 35. What's your situation?"

Scout: "Post Marauder attack. Three dead, four alive. Requesting immediate VTOL."

Raven Pilot: "Roger that E-54. Activate your homing beacon so we can find you."

The scout pressed a button on his communicater. A red light began blinking.
Scout: "Alright. Beacon lit."

Raven Pilot: "Copy that. We're picking up your signal now... Eagle 35, do you copy? We need you to cover us."

Eagle Pilot: "Copy that Raven. All clear up here."

A few minutes passed before the transport came into view.
Rave Pilot: "We have you in our sights E-54."
Scout: "Copy that. LZ is clear."

The ship lowered to the ground. The doors and ramp opened as it hovered just above the ground.

Everyone began walking toward the ship.

Everyone but Jake. He stood there starring at the vaguely familiar ship.
Tye: "Jake! You comin'?"

Jake let out a deep breath and walked toward the ship.

Okay, the ships aren't your best, but ignoring that... The character dev. is WAY BETTER than Mythada. The internal struggles of Jake is fantastic. The storyline is also very detailed. Good job. MEP

Quoting Finn C-Q I am just thinking of the years of sets missed and gone forever. Have you bought any custom products from BrickArms or BrickForge? Considering you cut a Lego shotgun and some other.

The pistol was also one of those rifles. Heres my philosophy on cutting: Only small peices used with/ for minifigs, and only if I have plenty of them or won't use them in their original state. I have a few rifles and don't use them very often, so I was ok with cutting two.
