My second entry into the Brickforge "Cosmic Conflicts" contest.
About this creation
Cretcia is a small city on the desert planet of Gadnea. Despite its appearances, it is the most important city of all mankind: it is the capitol of the Space Marine Armada. There is only one road into Cretcia, a long and hazardous trek that is barely capable of fitting two ATVs into each lane and three quarters of its length is kilometers above the planet's ground. The road was designed to make Cretcia virtually undetectable. In that sense, it failed entirely. An unknown alien race has taken advantage of the recent deployment of all active Space Marines to the outer colonies and have sent an entire fleet of their ships planet side to invade the helpless city. The only flaw in their ingenious plan is Fire-team Beta, an experimental, three-man squad that haven't officially been put on active duty yet. After all, they are just twelve years old. Reluctantly, Space Command has no choice but to send this group of child soldiers and their commanding officers into battle as Cretcia's last real defense. Fire-team Beta has now deployed a R.D.D.P. (Rapidly Deploying Defensive Position) at the road's most critical section: an area right above the main support beam stemming out of a small plateau. With the first wave of the alien horde at their position and the road's underlying pipes already taking damage, the space marines don't notice as an elite squad of aliens attempts to destroy the only thing keeping the children war machines from a very early "retirement". Their only chance is a well placed bullet by their overseeing commander. Will Cretcia fall or will Fire-team Beta hold the line until the end? Only time will tell...

Very nice dio, even if it is called "Halo" or not! You´ve built a very nice and detailed scenery. The atmosphere is just right and that is everything that counts. Period! |

And if this isn't the UNSC, how did they get a hold of spartan armor, only those (like the Spartans) can actually use Mjolner armor, or there bones shatter from the extremely fast response time of the Mjolner armor. Get your stuff straight, or at least say you made this all up to not cause confusion. And another thing, if its the covenant, address them with their names, or if this is the first encounter, that's impossible, the first encounter was Harvest.
Alright, so here's a long winded response to a long winded complaint. If you would have read the topic sentence, you would have noticed that this was an entry to the BrickForge Cosmic Conflicts Contest and as such, I was strongly advised to stick to their Space Marine storyline hence the lack of the Halo-esque namesakes and plot lines. So, in a sense, I do what I want, good sir. On the topic of the decals, I don't ever recall saying that they were my own design and I almost always cite the people whose ideas I borrow but I had just under an hour to post this before the deadline and it slipped my mind. I will rectify this situation post-haste. Does that satisfy you? |

This is amazing I hope you win. I like the road details and the how it stands on its own. The story is pretty good too!
AND TO LANDER: Dude this is a contest entry on brickarms for a prize, I'm betting that in the rules it states you cant use copyrighted items (Halo, Covenant, UNSC) So he cam up with his own names for it. And its a FAN MOC. In fan made things YOU MAKE UP STUFF. He can make up whatever situation he wants, even his own platoons planets or secret projects. ITS CALLED IMAGINATION. |
