Mezzinus' turrets keep the village of Ter-Minos safe... or at least, they're supposed to.
About this creation
--Hooray for Gun Songs ^_^--
The V.D.T (Village Defense Turrets) Help keep Ter-Minos safe during hynak attacks. There are three turrets: The Plasmis, the Ballistus and the Daggerest. Mezzinus is in charge of keeping them running, and he has uprgraded them a lot since they were delivered to Ter-Minos - shortly after Harren and Mezzinus returned from the Tokia Compound, in fact.
The Plasmis
This turret is the most mobile of the lot, and is mounted on three solid proto-silver wheels.
It fires blue plasmatic rounds, distilled from water vapour in the air. It can never run out of ammunition, but its filter needs changing every few uses. The rounds burn as they react violently with any metal or flesh they come into contact with - including hynak armour and flesh.
The Daggerest
The Daggerest is an insanely powerful cannon, capable of shooting down gunships with just one blast. It fires explosive Azalgor crystal rounds, given to the Tempestrians by the Sirrushians. These crystals pack incredible destructive power, and each ammunition drum (these need to be restocked often) carries 36 rounds - 6 in each compartment, then it rotates.
The Daggerest's name comes from the long sword-like legs it has. It must root itself into the ground before firing, or else it is prone to blowing itslf backwards.
The Ballistus
The ballistus walks on three claws, and has a double turret for rapid fire. It fires a similar plasma to the plasmis, but is prone to over heating. When this happens, it channels the excess energy through pipes in one of its legs - whichever one is coolest.
--These are in the BRC, and the storyline. Originally I had just made the Plasmis, but I decided I wanted a couple more in there.
Group Shot.
You know, I really wish I had a real one of these... it'd stop those drunken yobs coming into my back garden...
Those things are AMAZING! Harrenus looks SOO awesome! BTW, would you mind giving me an opinion on Callan's Hordika form? I'd really like to hear your opinion. Thanks if you can!http://mocpages.com/moc.php/233475
