About this creation

The NEW Engine 1 is a 2010 Pierce Velocity Custom 2000/500 Pumper with a high-pressure pump for fighting high-rise fires and a low-profile hosebed. The NEW Engine 1 will runs out of Fire Headquarters in Downtown Legoford with Ladder 1, Rescue 1, and the Incident Commander. Engine 1 will also be staffed with a minimum of one engineer, one lieutenant, and two firefighters at all times. Some new features on this new rig include, a gang box on the roof of the cab, rookie bars, an extended bumper with an intake, a Federal Q, a complete set of LED's, a hosebed cover, two new cab lights above the windshield, and a shorter rear bumper. Also, unlike past rigs, this new rig features seating and details in the cab. Engine 1 and it's crew are nicknamed "The Midtown Mob" because the area it covers: Downtown. Downtown however, is often refereed to by the locals as Midtown, since it is basically in the center of the City, hence the word, "Mid-town". I also plan to build all my new engine companies around this design. Once I perfect the design, I plan to build it in real bricks.

The NEW Engine 1 was modeled after numerous FDNY engines, Syosset, NY's new engines, and my own designs. Inspiration for this rig goes to Thomas D., Alex W., Mike L., Matt J., Tony S., and Paul B. Thanks guys!!!

Quoting Commander Nelson Sweet! i like the bumper rods.if you do buy one of your ldd rigs i suggest this one. Too bad its probably like 75 bucks.They need to lower the price

Thanks Commander!!! Actually, the price for one of these LDD jobs is closer to $90-$95, so I don't think I will buy one anytime soon. I think I'll just need to do some searching on Bricklink.
