Like the last year, i made some new fake-impulses showing stuff of my coming Legonia projects. I wouldn’t call them real impulses because they’re maybe too big for that, but what cares me, i don’t work for Lego ;) The drunken man
Alcohol is one of the worst poisons in legonian cultures, especially in the northern kingdoms. The body part is from the Studios vampire’s tomb and fits well for castle, not?
Somewhere in the far west of western Legonia a group of women isolated theirself in a wild land. Men are hold as slaves and only used for reproduction. Through the time and caused of the culture, the physic of this people changed. Men have weaker bodies while the women are strong muscular warriors. Outside their homeland, some amazones are travelling through other kingdoms to train their skills and prove their strength, also mercenary is one of their jobs.
The jungle elves are the smallest of the tribes and live in the Ahl’shiara jungle at the southern border of the elven forests. I didn’t put one in a fake set yet so i made an impulse. (I want having all factions of Legonia in at least one of my “sets”)
Fire elf ballista
A simple but functional distance weapon shooting burning stones. The fire elves were banished from the continent long ago and settled somewhere on the eastern continent. Their natural power over the element fire makes them extremily dangerous. I used the Lego soccer piece to shoot the stone. (Faction created by Stewart Inferno Lord Fulton
Shadow elf traveller
Another elven tribe coming this year. The shadow elves live on the eastern continent, too. Not much is known about them but
On the island Peng Cheng, the ninjas are masters of martial arts. Of course they need years of training by the master.
Monk of Peng Cheng
Another impulse for the rarely used Faction: The monk is the master of all ninjas and live in the mountains. Master Zhang Zu is one of the best fighters and
After the main menaces of the northern continent are beaten, the vikings start to explore the coasts again. While lucky men like Captain Haldir travel east to discover the new continent, some other have to explore the far north, an arctic region.
An old man travelling over the far north to find his destiny. Who wonders, what a Gelojhor is, wait until my next Legonia moc ;)
My favourite Legonia faction are the Skorpion Emirates. And they have mages, too. Like this one, who practicising an artifact enchantment. The result is a flying carpet, yeah finally, someone made one! And just by using official Lego parts, the cotton is from Orient expedition and connected with some bricks.
Ark’tohlian street entertainer
A flute, a snake, the rest is nothing original.
And finally, i also made some “battle-packs”. And what would be a better battle pack than a faction i created myself?
I present: The Skorpion Emirates- battle pack! Including 2 Skorpion warriors, one palace guard (red man), one heptarch (maskman) and a two-blade elite warrior.
Battle pack villain #1
To use some of the smaller factions, i created 2 collectors packs including them. Here we have: Eaglemen from Outlaw Hills, an Agami (i used Newt Raiden’s Design because i can’t find the other fig anymore, but both are possible), wolfpack smuggler, Nu’chunk warrior (the new face from the Lego game “Monster 4” works best for them.) and a Fright Knight from the bat kingdom.
Battle pack villain#2
Wolfpack, Nu’chunk and Bullstribe man. Also a brand new Lupian and a Trogg. Lupians
Not much is known about lupian behaviour or origin. In earlier time, they suddently appear in the Outlaw Hills, curiosily in the same period when the mysterious druids increase their influence on the villages.
Those animal-like wolfpeople, as the settlers call them instead of the word Lupian from the magic language, are living in small packs and hunt all kind of meat, also humans. With a thick fur, sharp teeth and small claws at the hands, the biests don’t act much like a human but they have a primitive part of intelligence, so they’re more dangerous than normal creatures. Lupians are not to compare with the classic werewolf myths, because they don’t mutate nor react on the moon. So, what secrets lay beyond those wild creatures and what are their intentions in the Outlaw Hills? Troggs
Troggs are tall and strong while their upper part of the body looks like a green boar. As curious as their appearance their culture is. Since their ancient settlement areas were destroyed by dragons while the dragon rush, they travel in small packs through whole Legonia.
Their language consists of simple grunting noises but Troggs are able to learn simple basic languages as well. All they search for is, safety, food and god's grace. So, they’re easy to manipulate, e.g. some Trogg mercenaries fought aside the undead army of the black mage because he promised them the power over death.
Inspired by my Magic edition and the magic market i took the competition and tried to build something with just the bricks of my impulses (no bricks less, no more).
What came out is Master Zhang Zu’s travelling home. Master Zu travels much to explore the world and wherever he appears, many people come to ask for his advice.
