This car was inspired by Vinny Turbo's awesome 5-wides, and by the Cadillacs of the late 50's. For my first attempt at a 5-wide model, I think it turned out pretty cool. I had thought about working in some lowrider-style suspension, (See Dylan Denton's page) but I didn't want to tear up the body to make it fit. But despite the lack of detail, I'm really starting to enjoy building small-scale vehicles.
About this creation
Update: January 11th, 2010. I'm just playing around with the lowrider suspension idea.
Okay, so it fits into the front just fine, thanks to the angled fenders. It's the back that's giving me trouble.
While the construction isn't quite the same as Dylan's, it works the same way. Pretty cool, huh?
*SCREEEEEEEEECH*
Can you do this, Megabloks?

I don't usually 'go' for the small stuff, but that really is superb. |

I love this one. You very well cought the spirit of the 50's with this beautiful car. Hope you will join the 5-wide studless cars' club and ad this to it as well as many others... I haven't got much time for that at the moment. Btw thanks for mentioning me. :-) |

Nicely done, I make a lot of 5-wides myself and have already given up trying to make them fit a minifig, and still 5-wide seems to be the most accurate scale for minifigures |

Very nice! I would have to say that the front and the front 3/4 shots are the best, but i am not too sure about the side or the back... The front is great, i do like the head lamps. Keep up the good work -- sean |

Awesome! Great work especially in finding that awesome rear fender piece! This is great! 5/5 even without that unnecessary lowrider suspension ;D |
