The Gov'ner
retro-luxury style meets battle equipment
About this creation

It's another car for my Highway Armagheddon series. It may not look like this because it's in retro style and I'm very proud of how it turned out. It was more complicated than I thought but it was a fun build. In the pics you'll see the car's design and some features for a battle car... (and by the way, it was originally meant as a dedication for a great LDD builder and good friend of mine who is unfortunately not active on mocpages)

I don't know what's the bigger coincidence... that you wrote that comment just a few days before I would randomly visit this page again after years to look at my old creations, or the fact that I even know the HotWheels car that you're talking about. The name was inspired by it, because I wanted a "classy"-sounding name and couldn't come up with anything good myself. Thanks anyway!

This a beautiful ride! Keep the name (even though there was already a HotWheels car with the same name before this and has a different look)! The name suits it perfectly, because it looks luxurious while being a car that is not to be taken lightly. Also this car represents professionalism, authority, high social-status and, class.

Quoting Ryan M how about "payback"? or "Red Baron"?
Hmm, "Payback" sounds like a sale bonus campaign we have in germany, don't know if it exists in other countries (if not this might be a good name). I also though about red baron but this is also the name of a famous pilot and his triplane. I'm still thinking about a new name, thank you for your ideas.

Since some people said the name doesn't fit... do you have other offers? I was desperately looking for a name for an old fashioned car but since english isn't my mother tongue I don't know if that sounds appropriate... if you have a good idea for a new name, I could use that. And thank you all for the comments!

Quoting Master Shifu Leo J very cool car! LOL on the chains with sparks while getting dragged on the road! i've actually seen something similar where cars pull a large sheet of galvanized iron to create sparks and noise; their alternative to fireworks during the New Year celebration! XD
I had been thinking about something similar, too. I just had no good idea what they could be useful for... but thanks for the inspiration and the comment! :)
