Moggy is a Powerful Sorcerer, conjuring Sorcerous Sorceries
About this creation

Back of the Tower
Too Close For Comfort Shot of Moggy
This is The Tower Of Moggy, or, Moggy's Tower, if you prefer. His full name is Mogridsiliousvectorhasbro, but his "friends" just call him Moggy. Well, the last one did. If you peer closely,( but don't get too close,) you can see the poor fellow's skull there on the desert floor! Anyway, Moggy lives out here in The Barrens, a desert wasteland just the other side of The Pits of Pendulumus, (bad place to visit, wouldn't want to live there.) When he's not down on the dungeon level torturing some helpless damsel in dire peril, he's usually out somewhere performing his sorcerous sorceries, or working in his lab late into the night. Right now he's up on the roof, waiting for his pet dragon, Snarf, to come and pick him up for a ride into town to do some shopping at the mall. Snarf's full name is - well, unpronounceable, being a dragon name. so Moggy just calls him Snarf, because of the sound he makes when he laughs, which is every time somebody on a skateboard takes a header. We'll just leave Moggy to his waiting now, before he notices us and turns us into something very bad, like a Jonas Brother. (That's a joke!)

Y'know, I'd be tempted to go for building a model of Orthanc, if there weren't already several great creations already on Mocpages. |

Nicely done, looks like a mini-Ortanc ! But you shouldn't go to the upper floor if you're drunk, it's dangerous ;-)
Oh, I won't, I assure you. (I won't even go there when I'm NOT druk - drenk - drok?) Moggy's too erratic a personality - and he doesn't bathe very often either. |

Great minds think alike! That's exactly what I did, using four base walls to build from. I was just goofing off at first, but after I'd added all the bricks, cheese and tiles, I realized I had a nice flat area at the top, perfect for a tower. |

I like the concept of the tower on rocks. It's just so movie-ish. But i think it will be better of you included some sea around it...OoH. Nice job
Y'know, I was originally going to do it that way, but something snapped in my head and I stuck him way out in the desert! Why, I'll never know, but ol' Moggy didn't seem to mind. (I'm glad he didn't! That might have been MY skull down there on the sand!) |

I like the rock base at the bottom the most, overall its cool.
Thanks. That took the most time, by the way. I started out not knowing where I was going with it, just that I wanted practice with rock building. Looks like it turned out pretty well. I'm becoming intrigued, BTW, with the idea of making such a base for my grand castle, which will be in real plastic, when I get the pieces. I may be biting off too much, since the castle is going to be around 128x128 studs in area, but I'm going for it. Anyway, I'm glad you like that. |

Thank you. Yeah, sometimes words just let me down completely! It isn't like the good old days, when I was hanging out with Humpty Dumpty (poor fellow) and a word meant what you wanted it to mean! |

Words might fail you, but your building talents certainly don't seem to. Nice job. Lee. |

I wanted to put in some more windows but Moggy said they cost too much! He also said if it was easier to see out, then it was easier to see in! Suspiciously secretive sorcerer, that one. |

So, no bats in the belfry...? Like the recessed windows you've got going on there, something (correct me if I'm wrong) you don't often see in MOCs, but you get a lot of IRL. |

Thank ya kindly. I have a Lego rock base, but not enough gray so I decided to make it in LDD. The way the tower came together so easily amazed me, because I've been dissatisfied with the guard towers on my castle work. 12x12 is the way to go, I guess. Anyway, it does look nice, stuck all the way out there in the desert. Moggy doesn't have a belfry, but he DOES have bats! |

Nice design on the tower, the rocks at the base and the bats on the roof are great little details. |

Well, I could get Moggy to send Snarf and he could gobble them up for you. Snarf says, by the way, that pit bulls taste the best. I'll take his word for it! |

Love that porch to nowhere. I assume it's a place for a dragon or other flying nasty to land and carry Moggy off on adventure. I'd love to have a dragon to fly me around, but I don't think the neighbor's would like it much. They have some tasty looking dogs in the backyard . . . |
