This was built a day or two after the first one and didn't take nearly as long, mostly because there wasn't that learning curve of figuring out how to make the cockpit that way.
I wanted to make it look like a more refined version of the TLX-1, and I think I accomplished that with the slopes on the cockpit and on the top.
About this creation
The second faster-than-light space craft ever made, it's upgraded Particle-Light Accelerators made it capable of 3.4 times the speed of light. It was sent to Saturn on is first flight, making it the first manned space craft to orbit Saturn. It was commissioned only one year after the Firefly's maiden voyage.
Standard size comparison.
Same propulsion engines as the TLX-1: Maneuvering Thrusters, Ion Drive, and two upgraded Particle-Light Accelerators.
This was my first real attempt at greebling. It's alright I guess...
The TLX-2 is capable of atmospheric flight. The underside and leading edges are covered in heat-absorbing tiles.
