This was my second attempt to build something with a lot of SNOT, and in this case, SCUD (studs completely upside down).
About this creation
The TLX-1 was the first space craft capable of faster-than-light speeds. Capable of about 1.6 times the speed of light, it made it from Earth to Mars in about 20 hours and 16 minutes (spending less than three minutes at light speed).
Standard size comparison.
The TLX-1 uses three different types of propulsion: Standard Maneuvering Thrusters, an Ion Drive to accelerate to .9 the speed of light, and two Particle-Light Accelerators, to push the craft past light-speed.
While I really like the cockpit design, I couldn't find a practical way to make the cockpit open and close, but luckily, it's only held on with two studs.
