Revenge Class Heavy Carrier - Relentless
Before you guys say "what kind of rubbish is this? I've never seen this Star Destroyer class before..." please bear with me just a little bit. If you just check out the link I posted below it will be clear to you the first time...
About this creation
I have been looking all over for a MOC of this ship for a very long time. But so far I cannot seem to find any. Getting tired of not finding it I finally decided to make it myself 4 days ago and it took me 2 whole days to finally get the look that I want.

For those of you who are not familiar with this imperial capital ship. Please check out these following links:

The Relentless is not exactly a dreadnought. It is still small enough to manouver in tight spaces and yet its length is more than twice that of the Imperial II Class Star Destroyer. (as you will see in the pictures in my other entry in my page, The Revenge Class Heavy Carrier Relentless - Battle Group, I have made this to scale well with my Imperial II Class Star Destroyer and my other designs)

Before going any further, please also check out the following videos then it will be clear to you the first time:

Anyway here it goes:

The frontal view:

It has a kind of Catamaran twin-hull design and a top and bottom tower - a major headache to make via the sloping plate technique - kudos to the "Blacksheep" to come up with this concept! hehe... I tried brainstorming to do this via the sloping plate technique but alas I gave up in favor of having it finished in 2 days. Besides I have lots of 6x3 light bley wedges that I need to make use of. Maybe you guys can pull it off one day using the sloping/tilting plate technique. I will continue to figure it out myself - maybe I will then post a second version or something - but I doubt it will be as solid though.

Bottom Hull Views:

Just like in the movie I tried to make the hanggar bay massive. Slightly behind the twin solar ionization reactors. Though this MOC is quite solid but the inside is actually hollow so the hangar bay entrance actually leads to a cavernous space inside.

Here I also post the photo from the movie "I.M.P.S. Relentless" so that you will see the reason I made the engine nozles as such:

Rear View:

I'm quite happy with the engine nozles here too. (If you see the movie you'll know that it look somewhat like that)

That's it; The Revenge Class Heavy Carrier - Relentless. The only one on the internet so far I think ;-) I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do. Be sure to check my other posts where I will show you this ship in formation with its escorts and its battle group - some of the other ships I have.

Happy holidays everyone!

Great build! I like the design, and I think it makes a lot more sense having an upper and lower tower. The big notch in the middle is quite fetching, too. So, seeing that it looks good at this scale, obviously you need to take it up a notch, say 4 feet? Go for it!

Quoting Louis K. Man, that's awesome! You really got the shape! I´m just wondering how many grey pieces you have ( obviously a lot XD). So, great build and great work! Keep building! Check out some of my stuff :)
Thanks Lou. I'm so glad you like it as much as I do. 8-) Yes I have always liked grey colored pieces. They always come in handy, don't they? You can use them for a lot of cool stuffs. It just so happened that I have a lot of them around. I seemed to have over-ordered them when I was gathering parts to make Lasse Deleuran's Super Star Destroyer - Executor. If you look carefully you will notice that there are lots of repeat uses of the same pieces --> "light bley 6x3 plate wedge". ;-). Be sure to check out her battle group which I also have posted here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/175304 If you enjoyed this you'll definitely enjoyed that one. Cheers. Aryo Gono
