Shown here is the newest addition to the System Police fleet, the Vixen Orbital Patrol Fighter, manufactured by Meggadon Interstellar, a division of BII. The craft, equipped with two phased emission beamers, is designed specifically for orbital and close in Belter operations, freeing up the larger, more heavily armed Interceptor for long distance patrol and pursuit. The Vixen is what is called a "day ship" , meaning that the pilot returns daily to home base. Test pilot Michelle Pinsciotti told reporters that the Vixen, "handles like a luxury yacht, smooth running and instantly responsive. She's well named, too, because those beamers have a nasty bite!"
The Systems Police have ordered 2,000 of the fighters, to be deployed throughout 2381, as needed.
When I first did it, there was greebling all over it, but that made it look slow and bulky. I much prefer the smooth shell look anyway. The battleships that I'm making for G.A.I.A. are much the same. They don't have barreled weapons; they use beam projectors and field emitters, represented by nodes and hemispheres.

WOW! What a wicked shape! Dude you have to get yourself some actuall LEGO, cos designs like this will surely get noticed in real pieces. This fighter is just sweet...
Thanks. I'm working on it. I get a big chunk of residual payment in January, and I think it's all going for Lego kits and pieces. And a camera, with tripod. So, yes, I will definitely be posting Mocs in real plastic, starting with the Interceptor and the Vixen.
