Trippin' down Coral Alley
Welcome back friends and thanks for coming by. Here is a little creation that was inspired by the release of the new Atlantis line. Enjoy!
About this creation
Special thanks for inspiration go out to Giovanni Seynhaeve, Aquastlenauts master, for the coral idea and António Silva who's wonderful Underwater Panic is just plain cool.

Fourth dimension commentary:
I apologize for the lack of write up on this MOC, but I want to get this posted and back to work on my current endeavor. I am hoping to have it posted before Christmas Eve, so I need to get busy! About the MOC, the sub has a detachable rover and is lit inside with a light-up brick. It has a hatch, but the entire top opens up for 'playable' access. The front dome only opens of the rover is detached, but it was the best I could pull off. I am really happy with how this came out and I hope you like it too. Until next time, keep on brickin' on and MOCy Festivus!~H

Beautiful design on the submersible and the ocean floor is nicely built. The use of the UV light has intrigued more for a while now (Flickrmail sent ;))

Wow! My Dad (Mister Bones) told me about your page and this creation for the group you guys are in. This is really good. I love the colors and the way you did the pictures. You and my Dad need to stay away from blacklights!

Sweet build, I especially like the variety on the seascape. What really sells this is the very cool lighting effects, so appropriate for the subject. Great stuff.

Quoting Mister Bones Why do I have two almost identical comments on this?
Sorry for all the alternative spellings, but I think the use of all-seimer's kept getting my comment deleted or something. It would just disappear, not even pending. I'm telling you, these filters...AARRRGGGHHHH!~H

Quoting Mister Bones Why do I have two almost identical comments on this? Was I dr*nk or just too st*pid to remember I had commented on it already?
Ok, this is my third and final attempt to reply to your comment. These filters drive me crazy! Anyway, you used the word 'ydyot' in your initial comment, got modded and reposted. That is what you were too dr*nk to remember! LOL Hey, UCLA did a study that showed 'grass' had a positive affect on all-seimer's patients...LMAO Thanks for all the extra smileys!~H

The build is excellent to be sure, and I love the playability factor; however, what really caught my attention is your photography - nicely done. Lee.

Quoting Mister Bones I am really liking the lighting on this Hans. Great build, looks better than the official sets. Only drawback is that fellow in the Celtics jersey. GO LAKERS!!
No, it's GO BLAZERS! Hahaha! Now I'm glad I didn't go with the Shaq jersey! Thanks for the kudos!~H

This is a great build Hans! I can't wait to get my hands on some of the new Atlantis sets either! I'm torn a bit between that and the Space Police sets, so it will be interesting to see what I settle with in the next few months.

Quoting Yuri Fassio Did you use black light with a low regular light or did you lower the shutter's speed? This is such a GREAT lighting, that the MOC falls short! (lol)
Very funny Yuri:^) I used a low regular light, that you can just make out on the upper part of the front dome, rather than the low shutter speed shots. The low speed shots were just a little too dark and I couldn't seem to capture enough detail for my liking. You know, the MOC is supposed to be the star; the lighting is meant to catch the attention of the easily distracted!LMAO~H

Great work, Hans! It's Beautiful! The black light (presume that's how you got the awesome effect) really suits the underwater setting, the vehicles are excellently made and the seabed itself is stunning!
