About this creation
So here we go again. This is obviously the same fighter you have seen before. I just gave it a new skin and a (imo) better bottom design. It actually replaces the red fighter, because I didn't have the parts to build a third. Speaking of parts, it contains almost any of my orange bricks, though I think the colour looks great, so I might invest in some of those in the future.

I think the colour really pops out. Maybe it's kind of a signal colour to strike fear among enemy fighters, like the Red Baron did.

The fighter is code named SNUB. Well, what else could I have built out of the letters SUB? Maybe BUS...but I rather stick to snub then ;)

I really like how the pilot is always looking into my camera. ;)

Though it looks quite familiar from above, there has changed a lot to achieve this smooth bottom design.

Here we have the comparison shot...the blue one is still missing one wedge on his wing, but hey...I was too lazy to take another pic :P

Construction shot, for those who still didn't figure it out ;) I used a really long pneumatic hose (3mm rigid) and those modified plates you see.

I would really like to know how you like the changes. I know there are quite a lot stickers, but I felt it looked rather boring without them.
Thanks for looking!
Btw...if you prefer better picture quality you can view them on Flickr ;)

This is amazing... do you intend to make more vehicles like this? It's every bit as stunning as Brian Kescnovitz's or Keith Goldman's work. Wow! |

I like the improvements over the last one, but where did you get so many orange parts?
The slopes and wedges are from bricklink of course ;) Other parts came from those arctic sets some years ago. |

AWESOMENESS! (i reserve that comment for the mocs that i really really really think are awesome) i really like the whole smooth front design, and i would really like to make my own with that kind of design but i'm not sure that i could pull it off as well as you have. i really like the orange colour too. i don't have many orange pieces either cause they don't include many of them in lego sets. anyway, the moc is awesome and the new bottom is super great, so i'll give it a 17 out of 5. |
