Even the devil smiles... My fist SHIP (seriously huge investment of pieces, can i call it a SHIP?)
About this creation
FINALLY!! After weeks of construction, tweaking, detailing, grebling (or SNOTing, whatever) and procrastination, its finally done!!!!! Look how small Prometheus and Epimethius (new version) are!! :D This is by-far my biggest MOC yet.
Side view.
Weapons systems
2 55 caliber cannons, 1 Gauss cannon, once tracking device carbine, 4 arm-mounted energy cannons, 2 flame throwers, 1 heavy missile rack, 4 explosive round cannons, 1 particle accelerator/double sided energy blade, 4 mini-nukes, and 1 "Obliteration" class contained nuclear missile.
Notice how the legs bend? That was a total accident and i didn't notice it until i was taking pictures :D
back view
I actually spent a lot of time trying to make this as detailed-ish as possible. Doesn't this look way better than a couple of blank plates?
How bout we go from the feat up shall we? The feat aren't really that special, at least not to an extent that i can make some complicated description.
The feet and lower leg are connected by these... whatever there called. Hinges right?
Bottom leg half, once again, i tried to make it detailed.
Top half of leg, with less majestic grebbles.
Knee joints, not that great :P
Hip-leg connecting section (what am i supposed to call that?)
The hip design works pretty basically, but it can support a lot of weight, simplicity is the best weapon, um err... design
Leg overview, bedding over the heavy weight :P
Chest, which i think turned out pretty well.
Close up, where you can now see one of the weapons. Explosive round cannons, pretty much like grenade launcher, but they travel farther, pierce, then explode inside the enemy. very effective :)
This is the inside of the Shedders chest. I took the liberty of taking this picture when the whole thing fell apart and i had or rebuild it :P Here you can see the shield generator (lame design), the top of the missile, and the mini-nukes when folded into the body.
Floodlight. Because the "Hand" is provided with heat seekers and night vision, this is mainly used to light up the battlefield to expose enemy troops during dark encounters with the enemy.
Lets move on to the head.
More specifically, the cock-pit (once again taken when it fell apart)
Little cramped in there. As you can see, those who wish so control such a powerful weapon of destruction cannot be claustrophobic.
The left control panel is used mainly for controlling the left arm and its weapons systems, and is mainly filled with pressure sensors and readers to compensate for the high pressure being used in such an immense flamethrower. The right control panel controls (obviously) the right arm. Because it is difficult to see what or where your firing from the cockpit, there are cameras located on the arm segments that hold up the The middle segment of the arms. These controls can also be used to control the energy cannons, the EPC, for manual control of the cannons, and for manual control of the missile rack. The middle controls are used for controlling other functions such as launching the "Obliteration" and keeping the "status que" of the many functions of the Shedder, thought they are usually run by the Shedders on board super-computer.
For controlling the arms and legs movements, the pilot uses a neuro-link, which does not impair movement of the pilots arms and head or vision, the pilot moves the mechs arms with specific commands using his mind, which are received by the thought scanners.
Now lets move on to the rest of the head and finally (probably what you'll like best) the weapon systems!! :D The Shedders "Ears" work as communication devices, scanners, and radar. In case this is destroyed, the "Shedder also has backups for these systems.
As you can see, the "Hand" actually "Breaths fire". This is mainly used as a scare tactict, as it would only be usable against very large enemies, some aircraft (VTOLs, low flying airships) which is extremely difficult, or enemy buildings.
Aww the gauss cannon, maybe my favorite weapon of the Shedder. When building this, i decided, "I will make a weapon with that awesome clip design!" SO i did =3
Missile rack, which i think is awesome. Used mainly for taking out enemy aircraft, vehicles, harsuits, and sometimes infantry, although it can be a little bit overkill.
Tracker carbine. Its only function is to launch a tracker onto enemies fleeing the battle in terror.
4 devastating mini-nukes, used mainly against heavy enemy vehicles.
55 caliber cannon, used also in the "Iron Griffon" VTOL and the "Raptor" mech, it is used for mowing down enemy infantry and against some light vehicles. It has it's own targeting and firing system so the pilot can worry about more important things, like burning the enemy :D
2 or the four energy cannons, used for burning through the armor of enemy vehicles and hardsuits. It also has auto target and firing systems.
One of the two cameras for easier main weapon control.
Here we have on of the 3 main weapons, a flamethrower, a big one :)
Here is the "barrel" and unnecessarily large starter flame.
Fuel tank, or would it be considered ammo? Ammo tank?
Fuel (or ammo) line. Pretty simple :P
The particle accelerator cannon, which works by accelerating particles (duh) to incredible speeds, creating immense energy. Using repulsors as a focuser lens, the energy can be controlled and condensed and fired to make a devastating weapon.
Particle accelerator core.
The "focuser" can be detracted and retracted, widening or condensing the range of fire.
Here shows the back of the mech concealing the missile opening up to fire. Bye-bye =3
FFFWWWOOOOOOSSSSHHHHHH!!!!!
And in place of the particle accelerator cannon, the "Hand" can be equiped with a equally devastating but more precise weapons, a giant double sided energy blade.
Though powerful, few Shredders were made with the blade due to the Shedders reletivaly low speed and agility. It was still a powerful weapon, but considered less practical and useful than the particle accelerator.
I was actually in the middle of taking pictures before i decided to make an energy blade, just because of how awesome it would be :D
Walking!! :D yes it can!!
But slowly :/
Awesome pose!! Yes it can pose to!! :D Hope you all love it (which i'm sure you will). It was a lot of work (weeks of building and 2 hours of downloading and commentary) but it was totally worth it :D

This is awesome! So is he working for the WCI then?
Well it belongs in the forces of Prometheus and Epimethius, two inter-dimensional warlords from an unknown dimension who can bend the rules ad laws of other dimensions to their own will. |

This is what the suit is based off of. Taken straight from Wikipedia. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/4/44/Gordon_Freeman_-_Valve_Concept_Art_-_Walking_with_a_crowbar_-_cropped.jpeg/225px-Gordon_Freeman_-_Valve_Concept_Art_-_Walking_with_a_crowbar_-_cropped.jpeg
Gordon wears a special full-body hazmat suit known as the "Hazardous Environment Suit" during combat, obtained from Black Mesa. The HEV suit is designed to protect the user from radiation, energy discharges, and blunt trauma during the handling of hazardous materials. The suit's main feature is its "high impact reactive armor", an electrically powered armor system that, when charged, absorbs two-thirds of the damage that Gordon would ordinarily suffer. A fully-charged suit can survive several dozen hits from small arms and even a direct hit from a rocket propelled grenade. The suit can be charged by various means, and has its own oxygen supply and injectors which can deliver various drugs such as morphine and an antidote to neurotoxins. It comes with a built-in flashlight, a radio, various tracking devices, and a Geiger counter. The suit contains an on-board computer system that constantly monitors the user's health and vital signs, and reacts to any changes in the user's condition. It also projects a heads-up display (HUD) which displays Gordon's health, suit charge, remaining ammunition, and a crosshair. |

Cool, but they sound a little over powerful
I assume that you're talking about the sui. It's actually based off of Half-Life's HEV suit. |

It's HUGE! It looks as tall as my Rig Veda! (a lot heavier, though) Shoot out some stats!
Actually its not as tall. What do you mean stats? Height and width in studs? If so its too late, already destroyed into thousands of pieces :P |

A little over armed (as with most of your creations) but that's the only bad thing I can say about your mech. The weapons are varied and really interesting, the tooth effect looks really awesome, and the size is staggering. Great work and keep it comming for all of Mocpages. Its worthy of Moc of the month. |
