originally, the first one was made to look like the design in one of the novels of a frigate. But as I evolved the designs of all my ships, it took on a more carrier shape, with the head hooked underneath to a point and the curved circular sides were inspired from the shape of the cruisers. Covenant designs are simple and elegant and have similar traits. Vehicles have wide swept fronts like the wraith and ghost or banshee, OR they are narrow and have pointed or rounded fronts (shadow, spectra phantom). Ships are the same, rounded oval fronts and curved flared sides. with the tops having a relief teardrop center and tapered aft or end.
